It's so funny that in the world of mmos free = suck, but in the world of everything else, free = omg where do I download.
The only reason is because the company is not getting paid to make their game good + to maintain it.

its from the creators of dota, so it snormal it resembles it.
its their first complete modification of game, in this case WCIII.
unfortunately, i have played it for like 30 minutes, and its not for me... i was never a dota fan to begin with and this game, though pretty much looked awesome and well made, wasn'T my type.
the only strat game i ever liked was SC and i am waiting on SCII.
but have fun, that game is cool for what it is and well made as well.

Have fun, LoL is awesome. Move onto HoN after you learn to play, it's much better.

they look the same.
looking at SS's of HoN, the map contains "lanes," I don't see any resources you have to collect like WCIII and it appears that minions continuously spawn and run down the lanes.
but it looks like less Heroes (champions) has less characters to choose from and even less customization than LoL, IE. Talent Trees and Runes that you build while you gain game play experience that affect any character you choose to play.
but if you've played both then by all means, please elaborate.
