Because certain people aren't great at dueling and some classes will just flat out beat another so if I am going to have a giveaway for the community as a whole I will simply have an rng choose the winner that way it is much quicker but still a great idea for say future reference. May do some stuff like that for sets of enchants and gold and what not.
