So 85-89 bracket is pretty fun right now

  • I was leveling on my horde and queued at 85, had a 1 second queue. So I came to XPOFF and people were poopooing on the bracket and barely any posts. On the weekend right now, life is a little dead in Org, but queues are 10-25 minutes. Reques are a little quicker. Fought a premade on my 85 horde hunter and we beat em which was hilarious today. Healers are impossible to kill solo, but hunters, dks, warriors, shamans, priests, druids, rogues, hunters, locks all seem to be viable. My hunter is 85 and I talked to an 89 in the BG and she said better gear at 89. She had 50k more hp than me too. I thought they balanced the levels, my game last week I could of swore we were all 89s, but today levels are 85-89 in BGs. 89s seems to dominate, but decent gear and teamwork are the way. I am at 15k ap at 85 and my 87 rogue is 22k. Haven't hit the BGs with the rogue yet, but hey THIS BRACKET IS ALIVE....

Unfortunately alive for the time being that is... 85-89 is only relevant until its no longer the bracket before endgame in terms of pvp. Love to see the pvp end of it thriving and even a few 85 twink guilds running pve content, but just like Cataclysm with 75-79 bracket once 1) those levelers are ran off and nobody q's bgs or 2) next expansion comes out it will unfortunately die like the others. Twinking scene has been scarce in MoP this go around and its sad to see. Only 19s, 80s, and 85 brackets have activity currently

I agree, but it's alive at the moment. Decided to level my DK (86 atm) after watching the video posted here. Getting 200k crits (average 118k crits) with the BOA sword from the Dread Wastes. Mediocre gear right now, but Obliterates hit like a truck and I can do 6 in a row lol.
