So which will pump out more dps in a burst situation and in a static?

i'd say go with the sniper rifle, you'd be doing more consistent damage, and as a hunter you'd be fine to go with is as long as you know how to play your hunter well.

Hey, a guy from my guild tested the epic bow, the silencer, and the sniper rifle, and told us that the sniper rifle dps more ! I personaly use the sniper rifle on my 39 hunter, and i do good damage

the possible burst on silencer is higher...but the sniper rifle does more consistent dmg.
