I got some small beginner's question for the free account, can't seem to find them anywhere!

Chromie time or not? Since it's available for me, should I activate or not?
About gear: Epic quest rewards or socket gears? I noticed lots of people suggest going for TBC dungeon rewards -> should i chromie time TBC to queue for TBC dungeons?
Artifact weapon or epic quest reward upgrade?

Think i still got a lot going on but this is just my start in the journey! excited! finally free.

Yes ok, i've read all that.
Never does it state if we should use Chromie time or not...

F2P can't use chromie unless the account is from the DK era

Then you are either linked or vet. Chromie time doesnt change anything besides making it possible to use dungeon finder to queue dungeons. Use if you wish or just find a group to walk to the dungeon

Yes ok, i've read all that.
Never does it state if we should use Chromie time or not...

I suppose its possible you missed that both the starter guide and the f2p baseline guide mention needing chromie time to que for a specific xpacs dungeons in the dungeon finder, but not needing it if you want to just walk to the dungeon.

But it's ok. When you have the time, do read through those threads (and the following discussions!) lots of very useful information for people new to F2P.

If ur like me and have no friends........ well, not many that keep to ur timezone......
Then Chromie Time is a must.
Just flick the switch and run dungeons while doing whatever else u do.
Example, u can quest in Draenor while queuing BC Dungeons.
Though, I felt a little puke in my mouth just then thinking about another BC Dungeon....

if you are lazy, epic quest upgrades are good enough. if you are moderately hardworking, tbc dungeon gear with sockets and you gotta craft your own gems. if you are very hardworking, ilvl 28 greens from nazmir or drustvar (mobs are level 25) with good secondary stat rolls and also socket and tertiary proc
