Skill Ratio/pugs/venting

So over the last month we have been talking about the competition in the bracket and making it better. Who will step up as leaders. Known players taking a stance. Promoting the "twink cup" and getting the "community" better competition and skilled players as possible. We all know that <Harvest> and <Skill Ratio> have the top players in the bracket. No argument there. You all are awesome. Kudos for sticking out the best and the worst of the 19 bracket in the past years.

My problem is that the constant "promotion" of the "twink cup" and 19 bracket as a whole is being tainted. We want competition.. Hell yea. I do not want to win every game in a steam roll. I love losing competitive games. It makes way to get better as a team and a player. What I hate is the constant afking out of competitive games. More of the guild <Skill Ratio> you have the rep as soon as you lose mid or have no healers you afk. Pretty much ruining the game. You constantly promote 19s trying to better the community with games and players but as soon as something does not go your way you afk out the game ruining the game for 5 - 7 players. I understand your frustration and the want to afk. But if you are going to try and promote this bracket step up as leaders in the bracket and stop being baby back bitches and having 3-4 members of wsg afk out the game. You only ruin the competition and the outlook on the bracket. Why even Q. Coming from someone who all I do is Q pug and play the whole wsg if its steam roll, great comp, or straight rape. I always make sure to better the team.

Call me wrong or whatever I understand the frustration. But see my frustration. IDGF if it stops or not. I am just tired of waiting 15min for a game just to be ruined. No way to promote a bracket or try and get new players. When 3-4 ppl afk at the same time that's some bitch shit and you just ruin the game/night q times for everyone. Why spend time promoting if you will be the one to ruin it. Q arena where you won't cause much damage to the community and when you still lose you dont have to take the 15min.

These types of people have been called out on this since the dawn of time. They talk a good talk of trying to improve the bracket, but when it comes to one's actions, you see a different story. You begin to see that it's all just a facade. Welcome to the real 19s. ;)
 
AFKing doesn't make games uncompetitive if they were uncompetitive to begin with.
 
If there's a game with 7 rogues on 1 team, I get it, if they won't be the better man - leave em to get chewed on and log another char and q up. But games that are tight as fuck and come down to the wire, why bother even queuing. But of course, this thread will go completely ignored or trolled by the likes of Dory and Rusks until it has 9 pages and gets closed. Commence the circle jerk.

I'd also like to edit in that everything about this is not new. From top guilds afking to preserve their eTink manhewd all the way down to vent threads shut down by mods after Dory and others from their side of the fence snicker away and post batshit retarded comments. Eventually pops will just continue to die earlier and earlier, just like today. 3pm my time for a weekend is pissweak. Fuck yall.

this bracket is so unenjoyable you literally have to pay people to play it.

and even then, it's activity is limited.

The real problem is the bracket needs more class balance, the only way to fix that is to grow the bracket.

I don't afk nor do I support it. we can't really control it, this thread has been made and made again and people still afk

which would hurt the bracket even more than it already has

way too many experienced players who all roll fotm which leads to more class imbalance than there already is
 
If everyone just started afking cuz they didnt get what they want then the bracket would die out.. thats why most of SR is hated to begin with, i got alot of friends in that guild but they all afk when shit turns sour. that sets a bad example as well as a bad taste in my mouth. Whats worse is this is merely the tip of the iceberg with the problems these guilds have. as for class balance, i got news for ya this bracket was nothing but terrible bullshit in cata, have you forgotten hunters? what it was like to que against 7+ hunters and be on constant rez timers...

Bottom line take a beating like a man stop afking out, you claim to be the best but you show up like a bunch of sore asses. who cares if its just 7-8 ferals ally side.. everyone knows its bullshit but dont afk and turn around and talk shit about it. its a freaking pug.... if u got 5-8 ppl u que with then fucking play different classes to beat whats queing if its that big a deal. Ironically the ppl who afk were the ones rolling the stupid comps like hunters in cata in the case of SR or Harvest when one goes they all do.
 
Pmuch agree with the sentiment and also that it's a known/dead issue, as these turds that do it on a consistent basis will continue to do so. It also fucks over the people that have been in que, only to get a pop into a farmfest/unwinnable game.

Scummy people do scummy shit and hide behind "it's the internet/just a game/i don't care" clause of a modern society.

ya idk horde is alot alot ALOT shittier (somewhat uncompetitive, that bad) without SR regardless, so the thread is indeed kinda a joke
