Recruitment

Winner of $1,300 19 Twink Cup

Skill Ratio consists of players who are driven to succeed individually as players and collectively as a team. As a guild we strive to improve day in and day out; putting in the work that it takes in order to perform at a higher level than our competition and to maintain our prestigious image. We do this by keeping our twinks up-to-date, consistently pugging to improve our synergy as a team, and by working with each other to become the best players we can be.

What Skill Ratio has to offer:

· Consumables for pugs.
· An active group of highly competitive, experienced, objectively-minded, and geared players to queue pugs with daily.

How do you go about deciding who gets into the guild and who doesn't?

We've constructed a thorough application process in which every player who wants to join must go through. This process was put into place in order to weed out the players that will not properly mesh with our guild before they're already in. It saves both us and potential recruits time and money. When players are required to work for something it means a lot more to them than if it was simply handed to them on request. The extra work that we ask of you, through our application process, builds a serious relationship between you and the guild along with a feeling of satisfaction the minute you join.

Why should I go the extra mile to join Skill Ratio when I can join another guild without all the hassle?

We can make a promise that no other twink guild can. We promise to be alive and active as long as 19 twinking exists. We've maintained a high level of activity since 2007 and have only expanded and evolved (Pizza Hut --> Waw Tawent --> Raw Talent --> Skill Ratio) over the years. While other guilds have come and gone, we've maintained the same leadership and core group of players that have allowed us to remain the top guild in the bracket for the last few expansions. If you join Skill Ratio you will never have to worry about finding another 19 guild again.

After reading the above information I have concluded that I would like to join Skill Ratio. How do I apply?

First make sure you meet these general requirements before applying:

-Master of Warsong Gulch achievement completed.
-Have Skype and mic.
-Be willing to update/change gear as needed.
-Can pay own server transfer/faction change if needed.

If you meet the above general requirements then fill out the form provided below, PM me your completed form, and then wait patiently for a reply. My reply will provide you with all the information regarding the application process and anything off the bat that you can begin working on. If you have multiple 19s only submit an application for the twink(s) you plan on joining with.

Code:
Why are you applying to join Skill Ratio? What sparked your interest?

When was the first time you noticed or heard about our guild?

How long have you been playing WoW?

How long have you been playing in the 19 bracket?

Have you or do you play in another twink bracket other than 19?

How do you compare to other top players of the same class?

We have the right to ignore your application and/or decline you further into the application process for any means necessary.
We do not fund in any way. We expect you to obtain and complete everything we ask of you without our involvement.
We are not held accountable for anyone who transfers to Bleeding Hollow before they've gone through the application process and have been formally accepted. Please, please, please wait until you're accepted by myself before you transfer.

Does this make you feel smart?

Do you guys take non boa twinks. I know its a silly question since you are a premade guild and aim to be bis. But, would you take someone full BiS non boa?

Just wondering. =)

No, we do not.

Wtf hunny I spent half an hour preparing to make my post to get into your guild, I spend 30 seconds making it and you make a new thread without even replying to my post? Hurtful!

I'll be bumping this thread with screenshots and other various things for a more interesting read starting on Wednesday.

Here's a screenshot to make this post more interesting.

Notice how the Horde has only 1 HK and the Alliance has 20. Yet, we're up 1-0 because our only HK was on their FC.

First thing I noticed was that you had xenaria on focus lol.

A sincere question for WT. How many get to premade once accepted to guild? Or is the most you can expect is to pug games with the WT tag?

Most players who join the guild do not get to premade.

If you had to choose between losing a premade, or losing the bracket; which would you choose?

Hunters aren't always the answer.

Pizza, are there any classes and specs you are specifically looking for, for your guild?

I've noticed you have dropped your level 85 main requirement for your guild from this topic, is one still required or no?

Does the guild have (or know of any) enchanters that have old bc / old school enchantments that members of your guild may need?

Three questions I have... :3

No, but we do have certain requirements that go along with specific classes. These requirements are kept private until you apply on said class.

We only had the level 85 requirement because they would be needed for the BoA helms/cloaks when they came out. Now that they are out, you can get your guild BoAs before you transfer.

We have enchanters in the guild that can do every enchant but Healing Power to gloves. There's quite a few enchanters on the server that can do that enchant though.
