Skeletal Club?

I've been using double Skeletal Club for a while to test it out, after all it has more DPS than my previously used Cruel Barbs after the patching. But I was looking at a chart from Shadowpanther recently and realised that Skeletal Clubs aren't really that good. At average DPS it has 41, while Cruel Barb's got 44. Does 3 hit and 3 crit really make up for that much DPS? Also, what the hell is AEP?

what enchant do you have on them because that does change DPS averages a lot.

AEP means Agility Eqivilance(spelling?) Points, basically its a chart that someone makes up that says "having so much of (x) stat is equal to (y) amount of agility".



its a rough means of comparing items. CB is going to have more AEP because +hit is very valuable,i think last time trespasser did the math 1 hit was worth 2-3 agi. (very good)



Its a little difficult to know if it really is better, because while hit IS good you need to consistantly be on target, something that is easier achievable on raid bosses and not always so in pvp.



To find out what works best for you, you need to get different weapons, download recount and see what works best for how you play.

Recount showed I got 2 shadowbolt procs tanking the entire Deadmines. Not a big fan of the wep anymore.

it used to be BiS because of the shadow damage it did, not the proc. now it's BiS because of the agi and top-end.

you can't go by DPS, you need to go by the ## - ## damage and speed.



scout & sentinel blade do more DPS, doesn't really mean they actually do more top end damage like slower weapons, or huger SS's, etc etc.

I'm using +15 agi on both the Skeletal Clubs and the Cruel Barbs. But I guess Grunge answered my question, hit is obviously more valuable than I realised.

What about the BoE sword that adds 3agi and 3 hit. forgot name but will find out when i get in game.
