i heard u were dictator and tried to impose ur way regarless of wut majority feels like, just like kincaide.
and hopefully just like u, kincaide goes back to normal member.
instead of trying to force her ideals into other ppl and banning/closing thread of who doesnt agrees with him.
at end of the day its not my decision and will live with whatever they choose to do, but will not stop giving my opnion.

Very True. Thank God. The simple fact is that I pretty much gave the site away because of a couple reasons. 1) Attitudes of members like you 2) The overall attitude shift of the Twink community. 3) After I sold my major tech site, I found how fun it was to "not" run websites!
True again... I was Hitler-like and proud of it.
At least you a reasonable. I can pretty much guarantee that your whining about Kincaide won't make a difference.

Kincaide did not change the CoC. Have a looksie for yourself pretty boy. The CoC has been unchanged since the first quarter of this year.

Yo, this is totally the worst kind of @thread. You're in violation of the CoC in at least two places: discussing moderator actions, and creating @threads. You could be banned for a long time for this. But you know what, I'm not going to take any action on this myself, I'm going to let my fellow staff members deal with you so that no one can argue that I'm acting out of self-interest.

On the topic of the CoC, I rewrote the section on abuse and personal attacks because people were getting infractions just for using a bad word in any context. I rewrote it to take into account the speakers intent and the impact the words had on the other person, so that you guys would have more freedom to banter with each other without fear of getting banned just for uttering a word. It was to help you all out, and one of the reasons you're still here is because my work made it more possible for you to express your opinion. Shane and the rest of the staff liked it so much, Shane agreed to amend the CoC to include it.
So please know your history and know what you're talking about before you go scratching around trying to scrape up evidence that I'm a bad moderator.

So if the staff (not Kincaide) decides to close this thread, it wasn't because "they can't handle the truth" or whatever stupid reason you come with. It was because IT IS AGAINST THE COC, AND KINCAIDE DIDN'T WRITE THAT PART.
On the second part, Kincaide did write that other part you're saying, but have you even read it?? The CoC was a bit too vague when it came to cursing/vulgarity/insults/trolling. I, for example, had trouble deciding when it was a post meant to insult and when it was in a playful way, even without "bad words". He wrote that part to make it clearer for both, mods and users. If you see, that's why moderation went a bit more lenient, after writing that part, because we had something to measure and not just a blind spot (as it was the past part of the CoC). Also, Kincaide wrote it but THE STAFF GAVE THEIR INPUT ON THAT. He didn't just write it and "changed it". We all agreed, SHANE AGREED ON IT. THE TEAM DISCUSSED IT AND APPROVED IT.
There's a reason why users don't get to choose their moderators (*ahem*people like you *ahem*). Has any mod been chosen by the popular vote? I think you're mistaking this with the MVP title. Mods don't need your approval. Mods don't get paid to do this. Mods don't lose or win ANYTHING when they close/warn/infract etc. And I can guarantee you that it's a horrible, thankless, draining job. And anyone that has put some effort on it (past or current mods), know what I am talking about.
Now I invite you to see who you're surrounded with. Kincaide is one of the few mods that work hard on this. Maybe I don't agree with all the things that he has done (And I have told him), but he has passion on what he does. He's willing to accept his mistakes and go back and change for good. Have you seen many mods doing this?? Before joining the team I wasn't sure if some were still mods (*ahem* Living *ahem*).

i happen to like it when drayer had the site. Only for 1 reason exploit such as shoulder enchants and leg enchants weren't frowned upon. People actually were showed how to exploit so everyone knew to balance 19s out.
When the blacksmith sockets were out. Many people tried to show. The method was even on the front page. It was removed and everyone got pissed. Too many fingers pointed.
As as far as this thread it went from a kincaide thread to let's shyt on cripz thread which he deserves. If I were cripz I'd man up and request a mod to close thread and say sorry about handling it the wrong way.
As far as kincaide goes, is a good mod for all the pressure and crap he or she gets.

u have been coming after f2ps since u turned vet, everyone let it slide cuz ur a mod.
i could give u shitload of examples on last 2threads you locked cuz u felt f2ps were atacking p2ps, but infact it was p2ps who came in thread and caused a derail, then wut happens kincaide steps in saying were are being offensive to other acc types when it was the anti-pure that felt insulted and started derailing thread cuz they understood it wrong way, thread said starter, like u said to leot no1 is forcing them to read it.
i dont see u defending starters when vets, subs insult them.

I dont know Kincaide, but I have to say one thing. I checked TI forum after a while and I wanted to reply to exactly two recent threads...but both of those were closed by mentioned moderator. I was kinda pissed of, since the reasons were just silly. Why is there any need to close some threads anyway? Does this site have a limited memory space or what? Why can´t each visitor decide? I vote NO...

I too was disappointed when those other threads got locked. Probably not for the same reasons as you. I thought they were quite entertaining.
HB is correct. Before, the site had it's overhaul. This was the go to site for information. But times changed and so does the game.

If the person offended doesn't report the offense is either because it wasn't offensive or he just doesn't care enough. It's not the same to write a playful post than writing a post insulting just to cause trouble/offend. You can see some examples on the lvl 19 guys, where they're given some room 'cause after reading lots and lots of conversations between them, mods are able to tell when it seems to be with bad intent and when it's camaraderie (for example Laurasia, in the lvl 19 section).
Even more, most reports aren't just handled how a mod wants. Mods also ask for second and third opinions when acting towards someone. And users reply to infractions/warning, and some of them have been reverted too.
Mods aren't gods, and aren't trying to be so. They have mistakes, they look for feedback and they are humans too.
BTW, KINCAIDE IS STILL ON A STARTER ACCOUNT.
