    • Ok, so i was playing on my 79 elemental shammy today and i was in WSG and i was wondering is there any way for shammys to get out of CC's? Everytime i get into a 1v1 with a warrior or DK or anything that can slow me i end up having no chance and i was wondering if there is some way to escape it that im just not realizeing. please help.. thanks
     
    No, but they can be escaped by Earthgrap totem, Fire Nova totem, Hex.
     
    He is a 79, isn't Hex a level 80 spell?

    No. That's wrong. Elemental Shamans are one of the best. If played well, they are the class of mass destruction. Trust me. I do 1.7k dps in arenas. Even gear check me.

    hurd dem deepeehehses mattered in dem arenas.





    they're easily locked down, but have massive burst potential.



    so it's not the best class/spec but it can be done.



    I suggest going enhance and cleaving, but whatever.

    Spec into enhance for imp GW. It's only 2 points and worthless for PVE, but is absolutely necessary for PVP as any shammy spec. Drop earthbind and/or frost shock, then GW and run out. You're going to take some damage doing that, but you can get away. Plain and simple.
     
    79 twinking is fairly null and void now......atleast since you lvl to 80 and all in bgs.
     
    I don't think they have any good ways of getting out cc besides just throwing down an earthbind and ghostwolfing away.
