So in case it wasn't pointed out already. >

"All Shocks now have a default range of 25 yards, up from 20 yards."

- what? OP....

"Earth Shock: Redesigned. This spell no longer interrupts spell casting, but rather reduces melee attack speed by 10% for 8 seconds! (exclusive with similar effects such as Thunder Clap)."

- So there goes shaman's ability to shutdown target 1on1? Wrong. read on.

Wind Shock: Has been renamed Wind Shear and no longer shares a cooldown with Flame, Frost or Earth Shock.

- You now have the ability to slow melee and interrupt casters as well..

Glyph of shocking might be worthwhile now.

I'm looking forward to inc. shock range, but I'm not really looking forward to HAVING to use Wind Shear.

Whatever, I'm gonna have to get used to it.

Just macro together Wing Shear with all your shocks with a ALT modifier.

I'm actually not really good with macros, you wouldnt happen to have a link to something like that or a smaple you can show me?

Glyph of Shocking reduces the global CD from 1.5 seconds to 1 second when using a shock. The shock itself still has a 6 second CD. There is no way this provides more benefit than Stoneclaw.

As for a macro, all reports I have heard is that Wind Shear will not be on the GCD. So if you REALLY hate this buff, you can always just macro:

/cast Wind Shear

/cast Earth Shock

Since no GCD is incurred with WS, ES will cast at the same time and you will have the same functionality that you did before when you used ES to interrupt.

This turns a nice shaman buff into a nerf (same functionality, higher mana cost as you are now paying for shock AND shear), but that's what you get for resisting a good change.
