How are they in this bracket?

I've had thoughts of making both a shadow priest and a 70, so I was wondering how they do here.

They have good utility and nice overall damage.
I guess not the class with the best burst, but the damage combined with the CC is lethal.
Plus the option to go disc is a big pluss.
Priest as a whole is not a dumb choice!
 
sp is probably the class that has the most synergy with mages at 70 which makes them really strong, one of the best comps at 70 is in my opinion shatterplay (sp, mage, rshaman), 3x offensive dispels, mages dies in seconds and you got dispelprotection on all ur novas/deeps, not to mention the SP is like a 2nd healer if ur shaman gets cc'd.
 
Ugly little truth about SP's at 70. If you do it with PVP gear and gem resil your dots are really kind of weak.

However... if you build PVE and gem int? You'll rape. I'm talking 10-11k mind blasts, dots 1100+, mind flay 900+ etc. It's a glass canon thing and with a 2 fears, dispersion, fade, trinket, engineering etc you have tons of 1v1 options.

I love shadow and when left alone to free cast you'll destroy everything you can get a global on.
 
I have some mana issues on my shadow priest (in pvp gear still) but overall they are awesome.

Not my favorite class by any means though.
