EU+US Shadowmourne is it worth it?

So since the ilvl change I know shadowmourne won't be BiS anymore.
He'll I'm pretty sure shadowmourne was never BiS for 80-89

Even so because 85's can just buy heroic firelands gear and 89's can get even higher ilvl gear.

But I'm still optimistic.

Does shadowmourne work in battlegrounds?

I know enchants and procs are turned off but I have glaives on my rogue and the proc does work.

So I'm assuming legendary weapons still proc in battlegrounds like

Hammer of rag and possibly
Thunder fury for level 60 twinks

Still work

Effects on weapons is disabled in BGs.

Shadowmourne does not proc as Nodoka stated. I do however often top damage and kills with my 80 unholy dk with shadowmourne vs a bunch of 89s. That's probably more about the lack of skills by the other players though.

Yes certain set bonuses work atm

It's Shadowmourne, the swag factor alone is enough to make it best in slot

Shadowmourne is always worth it to me, but I was also the first person on my server to get it in WoTLK, and it means a lot to me.
