  • I can't do any quests on my lvl 20 Evoker in Shadowlands. I tried different timelines, chromie time off, but nothing works. If I open the map it show lvl 50-60 for every zone in Shadowlands. This happens only on this one character. Anyone else having this problem?

It broke about 2-3 weeks ago after the patch.
    Only Torghast works.

    Yes. So this broke it?
This has been covered elsewhere but to summarize, SL has 2 skips:
    1. From SW/Org to skip the Maw. This is safe to take; and
    2. A campaign skip in Oribos that unlocks WQs and covenants. DO NOT TAKE THI SKIP.
Why? Because it means dungeon loot will be level 50 required and there's no way to reverse or fix this. IIRC Blizzard has acknolwedged that this is unintentional (ie a bug) but it's not high priority to fix. It could persist for years.

If you stay in campaign mode (that's what it called when you don't take the second skip), accessing the zones is harder. You have to progress through the campaign (nobody wants that), stick to Bastion (which you get immediate access to), get summoned or use the engineering wormhole toy (which tends to be an issue for F2Ps who have to manage tradeskill slots).

Yea. You can do other things though like gain covenant renown, and even do torghast while in SL time

But it’s gonna bork your required level for loot in dungeons (not theater of pain thankfully) as well as quests/ world quests

That said. If any geniuses on here want to help me find a way to keep the item levels high but find a way to fix the required level I’m all ears. Staring at these ilv 252 quest and dungeon rewards is enticing.

The other issue with this second Shadowlands skip, it locks out the weekly Shawdowlands reputation quests. So you are locked out of World Quests because of the level 50-60 bug, then kind of locked out of the reputation grind.

Lorewalking fixes this but you can't do any of the quests, the best while Lorewalking is mount hunting, tame pets, getting reputation by soloing the various mobs for tokens (mostly in Pandaria).

That's wild. It sucks that I accidentally bricked my main out of any SL content, but at least I know why now

I swear my 11 war farms Shaohao rep on Timeless faster than fully geared party did it way back in MoP with Legendary cloaks XD

Also Draenor. Tanaan events are now doable (well, Blood Moon is still annoying af), and Medallion of the Legion doesn't have a level requirement.
