Shadowfang with Mongoose

About 9 or 10 months ago (i think) Drayner posted the code to link a [ITEM]Shadowfang[/ITEM] enchanted with mongoose in the ingame chat. I used to link it in /2 for shits and giggles, but I lost the code.



Can anyone pm it to me? Or tell me how to recreate it

It's explained under the unholy weapon enchant in wowhead how to do this. You should read it, if you understand it, which you should be able to. You'll be able to put all kinds of enchants on all kinds of weapons.



EDIT: Oh, that was just for viewing for yourself though, I think.



Well, ninedash, if the script works I know I'll fool some guildies, just with a lvl 1 weapon

It's very simple to do these days thanks to our good friend wowhead.com.



1) Search for the item you want to fake link

2) Click the "Link" button at the top right hand corner.

3) Copy the script it gives you into a note pad document.

4) Go to EnchantId - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft and find the enchant you want. Copy the number to the left of it.

5) Replace the second zero in the long script that wowhead gave you with the enchant id. I used mongoose for this example.

Man, it took me a few minutes hehe last night.



Nice.



But, wowhead, under the enchant (under Teaches tab) will give the encahnt ID under effect.



Also, for some reason, when I copied the script normally to TI, then tried to use it, it failed. Not quite sure why, but the only way to get it useable here was to paste it into code.



This also works(ed) with leg armor on weapons, lvl 1 gear, etc.
