Shadowfang... what's the best way to get it?

I wont use WpE, I might get caught. Hopefully, I'll be able to transfer my main to where my twink's at, and atm I have about 7k (almost got emblems for another Primordial Saronite), so I got some gold to offer. I've given up farming it.

I noticed something funny when I was in DM y/day tho, Vancleef (who is lvl 20), drops Cruel Barb (iLvl 24), but it is BoP, so it doesn't matter I guess.

In the interests of being pedantic, you can sell an item to a vendor then buy it back, so technically you can add items to a vendor.

But that would require the item to be in your inventory, even if you did send a packet to the server to tell that you sold a shadowfang to it, nothing would happen as it would need to remove a shadowfang from your inventory.

Xposure, take it from me, the first character i ever made was a twink, roughly 5 years back.. I once had a drop of shadowfang, together with my bro, who ninja'd and vendored it, just for looking at my face.. Since that day, i actually estimate this, i must have done over 1k runs in SFK, pugs, boosts, and just grinding. Had a few Assissin's, loads of other priceless crap, but not a single shadowfang. The best you can do is:

-Make a DK

-Lvl to 80

-Lvl moneyprofs (JC, Herb, etc.)

-Make like 30k g. (is easily doable, my shaman on Bloodfeather has over 60k atm.)

-Whenever one pops up, just outbid everyone with ur insane bid!



This method isn't really fast, lvling char+profs, but it prolly still be 100x faster then grinding for Shadowfang.

Just logically speaking if you had a SF in your bag, (you would practice making this filter before testing with SF of course) you could make a packet to let you vendor items then when you buy them back they go back to your bag but don't leave buy back tab and you could spam buy it.

I know what WPE is, I know you can't dupe items on retail/most private servers with it.
