I don't think we know the anwser tbh. GMs say yes, but yeah we all know what GMs are like. Personally I haven't heard of a drop in about a year.

I spoke to this person in game, and he said that it dropped for him on his trial acc hunter. Scrolling down his activity feed, it shows that: Obtained Shadowfang. 8/19/2011. Im pretty confident it drops.

Only level 21s can drop it, could be wrong but now I believe there is only one level 21, walden.... Gah rip the good old days with level 26 arugal and level 20-24 trash =((((

And you could get lucky from a chest (locked or unlocked) I have gotten an AB drop from a locked chest, not sure if these still exist in sfk any more, and if they did it would blow since rogues can't pick....
