Shadowfang (and possibly Assassin's Blade) unobtainable now?

I actually made ticket about this and got the answer today. The GM told me something like "This isn't confirmed and i maybe shouldn't tell you this, but I'm pretty sure it still drops." Seems like it isn't grandfathered, which is actually good (for me) because I don't have it on my 19 rogue yet :> Good luck farming it

Which i read as 'oh so you are farming it? guess ill tell you what you want to hear and continue to spend the £9 a month so you can farm this sword which im pretty sure doesnt drop; but hey ill blame it on rng'.

GMs dont have a clue what they are saying half the time; had a gm telling me they dont have the power to restore gear ...../xavierpalm
