SFK Farming. Droprates.

Howdy all, iv'e been farming SFK for some time now. I was lucky enough to get a few really sought after Boe's. Sf,Ab,Nr,Db etc. But i got these in a time frame of about 2 days when it seemed for that short period drop rates had been boosted. Since then i have failed with rng and have only picked up face smashers and those sorts of less rare blues. After the overhaul of loot ppl were receiving did blizz nerf drops or has my luck with the rng gods run out?. Post your thoughts, are u still getting them beautiful blues!? Cheers
 
Just bad streak of RNG. I've gone like 50 runs with no BoE drops, and it took me almost 200 runs to get my first shadowfang. On the other hand, about a week ago I got 2 shadowfang in around 3 hours of farming.
 
Drop rates remain fixed. Keep in mind, this was a FIX. As in, now things are dropping the way they should be... so we won't see a nerf from blizz.


Bud looted a fang the other day, other members seem to be looting these items just fine. I personally got a fang on my 3rd run and then had 25 runs without anything before I started getting ABs etc.


Long story short, drop rates are still fixed and it's just poor RNG.
 
Haha. No guide needed :p. I am going to do a couple more hours of straight farming this sarvo. Will let u know if anything drops :)
 
A little off topic, as I've been out of the scene for about a year now if not more. Are heirlooms no longer extremely dominant? What's in SFK that's worth farming for now? Sorry if this is too far off topic.

It's the way all gear is scaling now in instanced PvP,not just heirlooms.
 
I did exactly 50 runs farming for Shadowfang. They dropped on run 47 and run 50.

The only other BoE's I got in that time were Witching Staff & Guillotine Axe.

I hate you lol.. Have no clue as to how many runs.. Probably 150+.

I have gotten Guillotine Axe X2, Assassin's Blade X2, Witching Stave, Mind Thrust Bracers, Black Malice, Firebane Cloak, and Redbeard Crest... and ZERO Shadowfang!

I don't think that any zone drops come from chests, but I am still looting them to perhaps disprove this theory.
