Scorpid Poison vs Rogues (29 hunter)

Anybody thought about using this combo to prevent restealthing in bgs? On my 19 survival hunter I am constantly spamming wingclip and slowing/kiting melee's around to prevent them from doing their job against our team, and everybody seems to use the boar pets while on my 19 I chose the wind serpent. Just some food for thought.

You already have hunter's mark and serpent sting, i'd offer that overall utility/DPS is a better than just petting for rogues.

edit- plus there's not a lot of room for options at 29 if you choose to do the bow and hands questlines.

Yeah, I do think that Scorpid is underrated, even from just a damage perspective, but everytime I think about it from a utility perspective exactly what Warglave said makes me double down on Boar.

I use Mark on whatever rogue I decide is the main threat, and Serpent Sting any rogues/druids that are less threat. Thats enough in my experience, so I run Boar pretty much exclusively

scorpid is mainly a thing paired with viper, u use it to cover viper from abolish. even if u have viper i still think it's pretty meh since dots aren't really a hunter's best friend

I just pick whichever can use both Claw and Bite.

Boars can't claw, right?

Boars can only charge and bite, but cats have no speed increase until level 30. I think. Unless you go BM (lol).

So while your cat is moseying over to whatever target (god forbid you switch) the boar is usually already attacking it.

You want something besides a boar, knock yourself out. A person who thinks Claw is better than Charge can't be reasoned with anyways.
