Legend
Hey f2p friends,

As some of you may know, I'm an (aspiring) musician irl. Along with being the guitarist/vocalist in Since 1902, an indie rock band, I've done some work writing/producing/mixing/mastering music of my own. Last week, I released my second solo work. Feel free to check it out and leave any thoughts below!

The EP is up for your name your price, so feel free snagging it for free! Thanks for taking the time to listen and enjoy!

Liriope — on Bandcamp
Liriope — on Soundcloud

Also at mods, I realize this belongs in the Tavern but I'd like my friends who only read the f2p forums to be able to see/hear this! Please don't move it, thanks :D

I really like Backcountry Yeast Infection 2. Fits my taste in music and reminds me a little of Vespertine - my favorite album on this planet :>
Huge compliment man! Going to have to go back and listen to that album again :)

Ugh, totally lost my post I was working on.

I keep seeing this thread and I've been afraid to read it.

First of all, this is huuuuge, posting this takes guts. Specially solo stuff, there's no band to hide behind. That's super gusty. You're spilling your guts all over the place, that takes a lot of courage and I really respect that.

Commenting on peoples music or art can be very hard. It's tough, cause sometimes you just don't like what you see or hear, and to say that to someone you care about is hard. That's why this thread scares me. I was afraid I wouldn't like your music. I assume you want people to be honest, and tell you what they think about it.

I hear it, and I can understand that it is good, but my brain doesn't prefer it. It's a musical taste thing. The musician in me (heh, eh, not so much) tells me it's good music, that I appreciate it, but my brain just keeps saying "When are you gonna put Humble Pie (amazing band, by da way) back on?". It is a curse of being a rock dork. My brain was actually expecting some wacky freak-out CCR boogie woogie get-down-tonight revival band, but what I heard was some very personal music. Made by someone I already thought was a cool person, there's no doubt that you got something. You got it going on, yo!

Okay, I actually really like Crooked Bow / Ocean Floor. I keep listening to it, and even though it's probably not about what I think it is about, I've connected to it. That's a really good feeling, cause that's what music is all about, sharing something and someone appreciating it in a way that is personal to them. I would defiantly give anything you release a listen. Stay strong Sally! :)
