its not "so" much better now. it certainly wasnt back then. in pve it was too fast for mh, too "slow" for oh (think combat potency)



if you compare the two ungemmed, which i prefer since those gems could be anything, you see mounting vengeance is better in every single way except one less socket, and that its a 2.6 speed

even adding in gems unrequited gets an extra 20 agi max, so 40ap..except mounting had 28 more ap so really only a net gain of 12 ap. not counting talents/buffs. but you give up stamina, crit, and damage/dps for that extra agi. oh and "back in the day" that extra 20 agi gem was only worth 20 ap like you said, which means you were losing 8ap compared to the 28 ap that comes on vengeance. with talents/buffs the agi might have scaled a tiny bit better, but even then you were potentially losing ap or gaining a tiny amt while giving up a lot of dps/damage n a bit of crit. only "issue" would be if you wanted to deal with a 2.6 oh



n about that chest...i mean for max AP, ok w/e. but realistically would you wear that for 15 more agi vs bladed cuz if you chose bladed chaos youd lose the 15 agi (and some sta) but gain 10 crit and 30 haste. i guess it all depends on how highly you personally weight stamina and agi so w/e
