I thought today would be a set of amazing games, but yet again we have matches filled with 5+ rogues and in most cases its the same people. I don't know how many times I need to say that rogues kill competition. Rogues use the argument ''We're getting contained, so I play rogue''. That's complete rubbish and you know it. The only reason you're getting pushed to the graveyard is because YOU are filling a dps/healer role which would help sustain mid. I have not seen a single game where a team gets pushed back right into the graveyard with no rogues this Summer. You rogues are killing the bracket and overall annoying the community to the point where we don't even want to queue anymore. If you want to one shot people, which you do 90% of the time then go to 24s or some other bracket. But if you want help this community and help competition, please for the love of Mary play or roll another class.

Basically picture this scenario :
your team has 5+ stealthed shitters in mid and 5 nonstealthers vs a full nonstealth team.
-Midclash happens
-The stealthed shitters stay stealthed, essentially making it a 5vs10
-The nonstealthers get wiped and its game over at this point
-Containment + calling out targets
Agonist has a point, Rogues by far most annoying class in bg's atm, way to many of them. If things don't change. It will be the death of 19's once again.
EU suffer/have suffered from the exakt same. agonist is flawlessly correct. btw I find it amusing the same ppl that I've seen here on TI complain about gy-farming or containment, are the same ones that are persistently defending rogues' right to over populate and destruct the bgs
completely agree. Rogues was a one of many major reasons for EU dying (again)
i dont get how u can not realize that the reason why a team gets contained is almost always because of either a lack of healers or an abundance of rogues or a combination of the two. those rogues are taking valuable spots that could be filled by something viable like a healer. they sit in stealth while their teammates play at a huge disadvantage and get contained
I agree with agonist 100%. Rogues make players not want to queue. If there's 5 rogues on 1 team, and like only 1 healer on the other, those 5 rogues will make the only healer leave. And basically all the rogues are a wasted slot, except for a select few ofc. I get that some have been playing rogue for years, but if they want the bracket to survive, they need to roll a different class.
No, it's a select group of rogues constantly queuing everyday. I know 70% of those people have other classes .Heck even I have a rogue . I put alot of time into as well, but I will never play it because of how negative it is to this bracket. We need care about the brackets health more. Answer me this, would you rather keep queuing on a rogue continuously, degrading games and possibly making the bracket go inactive or would you lay down your weapons make another class and improve the quality of games, enhancing the brackets stability?
I mean does it really matter if you put alot of time into your rogue when the bracket dies?
The point of this thread isn't to ban rogues or attack everyone playing them. It's asking people who obviously care enough about the bracket to queue regularly to care about the quality of games.
I have to assume anyone who mentioned rolling healers and stacking stam to counter rogues doesn't heal in this bracket. No one here is complaining about the damage they do. Rogues on your team are usually a much bigger problem than the ones on the other team. This isn't about getting one shotted or having to face an OP class. It's about a one-dimensional class with no presence gimping their team and making their healers' lives miserable.
I don't care about people on my team getting globaled. Crazy burst potential can be pretty fun to heal against, it really keeps you on your toes. I do care about not having a team to heal. Its just not possible for a team to hold its ground with only 5 non-stealth players. I only see two options for a healer there - overextend into your rogues' range, get swapped to, die and watch your team wipe immediately or sit back and watch all the rogues die right after opening as our team gets pushed back.
1-2 rogues make games more interesting, too many of them make games awful. This isn't about banning rogues. It's asking the people playing them to use their brain. With too many rogues queueing, there won't be competitive games. Without competitive games, the bracket will die again. I noticed a fair number of hunters start focusing on other twinks, I don't see why so many rogues are getting stubborn and defensive when they're even worse for games.
TL;DR: too many rogues queue => healers are miserable => healers stop queueing or switch to DPS => games get worse => people stop queueing => rip
