They arent going to slap a level requirement on them, they're probably going to nerf their stats. they only level req things we really aren't supposed to get like HoA and azerite gear

MM the iLvl 50 gear will probably just get a stat squish since how widely available it is by everyone, including levelers, yeah.

I think it's in legacy mode already, get run by a 50 and the loot that drops is random not spec-loot. Best way is to have another lowbie in the party same level as your twink so the odds of getting the proper level loot are that much better. Being random-loot it can take even longer cuz you'll be getting cloth drops on your rogue and stuff like that.... all tradeable tho, unless it's an upgrade for the person it drops for.
edit- pretty sure there's always 2 drops per boss, distributed randomly across the party. Sometimes the 50 will get one (useless to you) but often both level 20 (whatever level) will get loot and you can trade it for 2 hours given it's not an upgrade for the recipient.
And you cant trade with free-to-play.
I have that idea, wanna to test in Shadowlands - with max lvl increasing, cause is should be impossible right now; am I wrong about it?
Legion normal dungeons are pretty easy to solo on a level 50, that's the legacy aspect - BfA-level toons do increased damage to legion-level content. I run all my guys through the end of zone dungeons for the ilvl 50 rewards with another account.
edit- damage taken is reduced too for legacy mode. For the 50, not the twinks in there too... it's normal to those.

Damage output seems too be not that exciting without https://www.wowhead.com/spell=2098/dispatch, i would say in that terms spec is more pve-oriented on 20lvl - but i didnt mess around with other two for any significant time.

Eh all the other specs have most of what outlaw has but better, the only thing that makes em better is the disarm which is about it :/
i wonder if the 3.6 maces are better than 30-33 artifact swords for 20 combat rogue? i'll get them both either tonight or tomorrow. the ones on my 19 are ilvl 22 because i've had them for years, but this 20 vet i'm working on might get some epic procs on them. i'll keep us posted.

So what talent looks dominant for sub? I was thinking Premeditation but i've done some testing and i believe gloomblade does hit harder than backstab even with the 20% increase behind the target... Premeditation seems nice for that instant 4 combo if slice and nice is up but im leaning towards full dps/dmg since rogue has 0 defensive cooldowns :/
At level 20 I'd probably go gloomblade. At max level premed is the goto.

Gloomblade is nice too because you only get 1 shadow dance per minute at that level I believe? If you have shadowdance at all? I main rogue so I rarely twink them, lol.
Shadowdance is sadly level 22 ): but ive been using gloomblade and it feels like i am pumping more dmg out now. Thanks for the reply and info
