Rogue Questions (Help Plz)

Ok so im new to twinking but please bare with me. I have a lot of questions but this will finally solve them [im hoping]. First of all I want to be the source of chaos in the bg, aka I want to cause as much damage as possible with high crits, but i also need alot of HP cause i just want to wreak havoc. heres the questions (please keep in mind im aiming for about 1k hp with tons of damage/dps/high crits; if this aint possible plz say so) PS im going gnome



1. Should I go Swords or Daggers, or 1 of each

2. Should I aim at mainly Stam or mainly Agi (dodge)

3. Should I be an Attack Power Rogue or Agi (for high damage)



4. Does Agi effect how much damage the crit causes, or how often I will crit?

5. Should i get lucky fishing hat? (I heard it got nerfed?)

6. Should I get the Nat Pagle Boots? (I heard it got nerfed)



7. What stat do i want to go for that causes the most damage?



Its been about a year and a half since ive played wow, so im behind and im installing wow right now. (lol)



sorry for such noob questions.
 
agil = crit, dodge, ap, armor

stam = hp

str = ap





those stats in that order



you need 1 dagger, 2 swords.



i suggest you look at some of the many guides on this forum about 3.1 changes and everything involved.



fishing hat still works.



boots are nerfed.
 
1. Should I go Swords or Daggers, or 1 of each - depends - high crits with swords or fast interrupts and backstab for daggers



2. Should I aim at mainly Stam or mainly Agi (dodge) - balance both - youre better off shooting for like 1200hp and 35% dodge than stacking one or the other



3. Should I be an Attack Power Rogue or Agi (for high damage) - agi affects armor, crit and ap - so agi is more bang for your stat buck



4. Does Agi effect how much damage the crit causes, or how often I will crit? agi is crit chance, and the AP it gives affects the crit damage, so technically both



5. Should i get lucky fishing hat? (I heard it got nerfed?) yes you should, no it didnt get nerfed



6. Should I get the Nat Pagle Boots? (I heard it got nerfed) these got nerfed



7. What stat do i want to go for that causes the most damage? have different sets for different things you want to do. A set for stam/FCing, a balanced set, and an all out DPS set for high damage output

Swords. Backstab is only for fun and is not viable for any kind of serious playing.



2. Should I aim at mainly Stam or mainly Agi (dodge)



Dodge is nerfed, there is no reason to go above 30-35% dodge. Get a balance of stamina and agility, and put fiery on your swords for max damage output.



3. Should I be an Attack Power Rogue or Agi (for high damage)



Agility is better than attack power for burst.



4. Does Agi effect how much damage the crit causes, or how often I will crit?



Well it gives you a higher % to crit, and it gives you AP so it causes you to crit more and more often.



5. Should i get lucky fishing hat? (I heard it got nerfed?)



Can still get it.



6. Should I get the Nat Pagle Boots? (I heard it got nerfed)



Those got a level req.



7. What stat do i want to go for that causes the most damage?



Agility on your gear and fiery on your weapons gives the best damage output.

No one of skill backstabs or thinks about backstabing. Ambush/garrote.



Itemrack is an addon you should look up. You can set it up so that when you stealth, a dagger is put mainhand with offhand stat weapon. And when you ambush, you weapons will switch to a combat set up of high dps swords.
 
go get yourself some gear from the instances like defias stuff, wc stuff, sfk rings and the weps from sfk if your a lucky sob, get the eng helmet if you don't feel like farming fish and your good.
 
1. Should I go Swords or Daggers, or 1 of each = I'd go Shadowfang (+15 Agi), Cruel Barb (Fiery).

2. Should I aim at mainly Stam or mainly Agi (dodge) = Agility.

3. Should I be an Attack Power Rogue or Agi (for high damage) = Attack Power.



4. Does Agi effect how much damage the crit causes, or how often I will crit? = Yes.

5. Should i get lucky fishing hat? (I heard it got nerfed?) = Definately.

6. Should I get the Nat Pagle Boots? (I heard it got nerfed) = Feet of the Lynx, or +12 AP Boots.



7. What stat do i want to go for that causes the most damage? Agility/Attack Power.
