Rogue Gear Help

Zessick @ Shadowsong - Game - World of Warcraft



My old rogue, but I'm updating the gear since 39 twinking seems to be actually worthwhile again.



I'll take any gear suggestions, however there are a few things I already know.

Upgrading bracers to Unearthed Bands Unearthed Bands - Item - World of Warcraft.

Getting AGM as my 2nd trinket Arena Grand Master - Item - World of Warcraft.



Things I need to know:

-Am I using the correct weapons, and if not please state the replacement as well as reason/enchant?

-Any other gear changes?

-What professions should I be maxing out? ( reasons please )

it's too late for me to elaborate on gear atm, I'll be happy to have a chat with you tomorrow, but a bis rogue will look somewhat like Moon here:

you've probably missed the OH he uses : Vanquisher's sword, so I'll find a replacement for that tomorrow, however this is how you should "look a like" if your in an alround well balanced set. You've probably not gotten the neck he has while it was possible, so I'd go with the BiS one otherwize which is the wsg reward.



PS: he hasn't aquired unearthed bands yet.

I think that the above profile is pretty good. However, he does have some GF items (his neck and OH weap) and some choices that I wouldn't really agree with but are definitely viable options.



chardev 8 - WoW Cataclysm



I'm not a fan of band of zeal because it really only gives you a tiny bit more stam and 1 agi over 7 crit rating but Band of Zeal is a good option to have in your bags even if you don't use it for a certain set. What you're really going to have to work around is how you want to achieve your hit because 39 rogues with BoA's have a lot of options. I chose to leave out the shoulders because they make the worst use of stats IMO in comparison to revelosh's. I would say that helm and chest are definitely the best BoA slots because the non-boa options are plain terrible (haste ><). I also chose not to use the BoA cloak because i'd rather have extra agi over extra stam because the character already hit the 3k mark which is more than enough as a rogue. I'd also like to note that the uldaman rares (unearthed bands and monolithic bow) are pretty rare drops so you might want to have alternate options until you find them (SM bracers and the silencer/boa ranged). As I said, rogues with BoA's have a ton of options so pick and choose between the two setups. Just make sure you get 5% hit.

Thanks for the Dire Maul weapon advice, I'm getting that now and it'll hopefully be enchanted by the end of the night. :)

Hillarious beyond belief. VS, that's about the same crap. Obviously that naab has no clue what's the difference between agility and attack power. So no don't even try to show him as an example.

This is the MOST pitiful rogue armory I have seen since 4.0. Congratulations.



At least he got all the heirlooms right.



This is not a troll. This is not an exercice, this is real world.
 
While I don't support being that much of a dick, I do think that the phrase "BiS" gets tossed around too much on these forums. It doesn't help the community to spread unreliable information, and ignorance should not be an acceptable excuse. If you look at the information he has posted, he is correct about the neckpiece.

ye, but then again Blazed never said he was BIS. He said "a bis rogue will look somewhat like Moon here"



And Moon, which he was dissing, didn't even say a word and got dissed out of nowhere from some random dude. Not very nice:p
