I play without currently and I just 'miss' to many of those crucial Gouges.

You do know its like stacking hit? If you miss a Gouge on a crucial time, you're pretty fucked, even if you're hitcapped.

You have to get the gouge plays off, wherelse you just get your face caved in.

Fixed.

Most people who think about expertise give it less credit than they should be giving it. Your blows are landing 2.5% more often against most classes, but 5% more often against Pallys, Warriors, Rogues, and Hunters (which are the classes that can Parry...although Hunters loose the ability to Parry come MoP).

Keep in mind that the Pallies and Hunters are two of the toughest classes to kill. If you want to burn down a Pally, you NEED your blows to land before he gets a heal off (although he can't Parry or Dodge anyway WHILE he's casting). If a Rogue builds up 5 combo points, waits for a full 100 energy, and then unloads...one miss can mean the difference between killing the pally or giving him enough time to heal (at least that's the only way I can kill Pallys with my Druid). And you NEED your blows against a hunter to land when you actually get in melee range before he CC's you again.

...which makes the argument for expertise even stronger imo.

I don't even play rogue anymore. If your dying to a bit of expentise, your bad and should play a different class/game. Gourge is getting moved to higher levels so I don't see the point.

And I thought that the Eyepatch should help you see better... Sometimes... 1 miss for a rogue ( espeacially H ) = dead rogue... Trust me I know..

I just realized that Enhancement Shammans will also be able to Parry in MoP (and Monks too).
