If you're talking about weapon speed Riv, then I think Swiftwind - Item - World of Warcraft would actually be better than most of the thrown weapons out there right now.

Trown only has a 1 sek cast time.
The difference between a 2.00 speed thrown and a 3.00 speed thrown is the cooldown AFTER you trow.
You might say that 2 sek isnt that long, but it is twice as long as the thrown.
- If your still not convinced, fight a good rogue that uses a thrown, if your not convinced hes just not that good

Swiching wep takes a sek in GCD before you can use the new item, you might as well just stick to the bow then. Although you can move during the CD its still usually not worth it ever having a non thrown equiped, exept if your gonna go for a ambush FC kill or something or generally just mindlessly kill nubs in BG.
Plus, like I said, speed of the thrown does not actually matter when it comes to how fast it leaves your hand

IMO my assassination gear guide is 100% (if I thought it wasnt I would have changed it), just copy that gear and swich main hand weapon and youll have a close to perfect gearchoice in whatever spec (Ill uppdate the guide to include other specs also later tonight). Ninja star is nice, its got hit rating however, and thats not as good if you are already hit cap'ed

) Throw is 1 sek cast time, no matter the speed of the thrown weapon. Guns and bows use the indicated weapon speed.Lemme give you an example: So your saying that a rogue (or any other class for that matter) does not have to stand still for a slight sec to throw?
This aint deadly throw, broI am 110% sure about the thrown thing, would be like saying rogues cant stealth, warriors stealth, to me. On the bow thing however Im just 99.9999% sure that the speed of the bow means... how long it takes before you fire.
