My best RNG luck was once in a random instance, I saw the Onyx Claymore drop, and needed and won, and some guy raged at me - FFS I'm a Fury Warrior and he's raging.......
But more recently, RNG has turned on me, and she won't even drop a Naga Heartpiercer for me. Recently been soloing BFD's maybe 3 times a day, and not once have a seen the Heartpiercer drop. WTF is with that? I keep checking Wowhead in case it's No Longer Available..........
I think when Blizz see's an expired (Vet) account, they flick a switch to 'F U mode' and RNG no longer favours you

Fishing RNG for me - Old Crafty and Ole Ironjaw was relatively painless and Sea Turtle dropped from a DMF pool in my first DMF. Likewise on my 100' first DMF, 4th pool, Sea Turtle drops.
Not all fishing went well, 10 weeks for Lucky Fishing Hat (not straight 10 weeks, maybe around 20 in the end as couldn't compete every Sunday.) I was so happy I made a terrible youtube video the moment I caught Keefers.

on a side note I watched HB loot keefers on Sunday and his reaction was awesome (vod pls?) Looting it on stream in between 19 BG's is pretty badass RNG too.

skill is irrelevant when fishing in pools.
