Nope. Might be from waaaaaay back before it was common knowledge what some of the BiS items were. Before the common leg enchants.

Eluding rings were after nethercleft/clefthide leg armors, and before that was +100 HP or 8 agi Libra’s to legs of the fang. Legs of the fang were the original BiS I believe with a libram enchant, and BC brought the leg armors. Now adays though the ZG leg enchants are dope to see, since no one really had them.

Librams were the only real option in TBC and Vanilla.

Eluding rings were BiS for dodge rogues in those expansions. Especially prior to the dodge rating nerf.

I thought dodge was buffed later on in BC, making eluding rings BIS. Of course once BC released, the leg armors became BIS over the librams. Librams were the only option in vanilla though.
