Those who were banned for 6 months, you should consider yourselves lucky. Your main accounts could have been permanently gone. If you're going to bot, make a new account and play through a vpn.... What would you need a bot on your main account for these days anyways? Botting hks at 100? Who gives a f*ck about having high hks? Honor gear grinding? Within about 10 hours of playing you can go from dinging 100 to being fully honor geared thanks to ashran + premade finder + gladiators sanctum. Botting lfr? Take 15 minutes and do it yourself or just skip the pve this xpac lol.


I know twinking is pretty easy these days, but my twinks all have their red whelp gloves, really sticky glue, oldschool gfd gear with gfd enchants, gfd transmog on some, and I would not play another toon if the slate were to be wiped clean for my account.


People shouldn't be crying to blizzard asking to be unbanned... You knew you were severely breaking blizzards terms and people really got what they signed up for. "Fucking blizzard won't even let me bot and hack their game. This is bs! Screw you blizzard!"

Honorbuddy is far more advanced than just a simple, glorified farming machine. It has combat routines that allow botters to essentially perform a perfect spell rotation every time in PvP/PvE situations. So Honorbuddy was essentially allowing people to play things perfectly, with zero reaction time...things a normal human being cannot do.

Select individuals in the 19s bracket were abusing this in WSG by using Class Routines. This would allow them to lay out perfect rotations, catch rogues out of stealth easier, etc.

Certain individuals also used an auto flag pick up bot that automatically returned flags with zero ms lag and without having to even move your mouse/cursor. So if you were in clicking range, the bot would automatically return the flag without the hindrance of human reaction time. This makes "scroll clicking" look like stone-age technology by comparison.

And these same 19s were going to abuse this bot for the 19 Twink Cup. That is the most sickening part of it all. Well, now it seems they can't. ;)

This is a huge victory for 19s competitive play.

Well said Mocha. I have quite some history on my own account, but this game has gotten so stale that I wouldn't even care if my account was shut down.

I agree 100% Painaid. This is great for [MENTION=18399]Myrm[/MENTION] and the twink cup. The offenders that use advanced combat routines and plugins for Honorbuddy that return flags automagicly like Ultimate Flag Assistant now have 6 month bans and won't be able to use them in the Twink Cup, well... unless they want to risk another account. Oh wait, I see a familiar name from the past in that thread for Ultimate Flag Assistant. Hmmm...

Honorbuddy is so powerful with its combat routines. I feel as if I am an average player and when I was on my priest in a WSG recently, I noticed a priest that was doing 2.5x more healing as almost as much damage as I was. We are equally geared and they might be a better overall player, but not 2.5x better. I was wondering wtf... so I thought about it and thought that it might be a bot so I downloaded a disc priest pvp combat routine and tried it out in a 19 XP OFF BG... I fucking owned the BG. I almost doubled my healing with this additional help. Combat routine for Honorbuddy that are fine tuned for PVP are freaking amazing. It can take an average player like me and make me look as good as the legends like Kidneypopper and Crusade.

Kudos to Blizzard for stopping this insanity, even through it's only temporary.

Yep, I did an experiment in WSG where I would randomly drop the flag around these individuals and they would automatically pickup/cap the flag. And there was no way these people could have been expecting me to drop it when I did, and with 0ms reaction time as well.

I think it is such a joke that a well known leader of a well known guild used combat routines and a auto flag returner.. are you serious?

The ideal tink plays 19s for the community and overall more competitive bgs... competitive ... why would you want to remove competition, where the hell is the fun in that?

Why didn't Blizzard just say "hey, we know you cheated, but it was a month or 2 ago, so we're just gonna give you a pass, as long as you pinky-swear not to do it again..."? Did they not learn anything from the 19s preparation for the 2015 Corrupt Cup? Gosh golly, such hardasses actually having negative consequences for cheating...

its in their ULA user liscense agreement that it states no automation of game play of any kind just be happy its not permanent i have no sympathy for those who were banned
 
Glad folks got banned using those bots. Now I can play my priest without worry. Since rogues are over played. Here's to hoping the bracket will be fun again.
 
If you honestly think top players in the bracket use combat routines on their 19s, you are misinformed. Any 19 using a combat routine would play much worse than any respectable player in the bracket. Anyone who has any knowledge on how the combat routines work would know this.

I will use this added motivation and drive that you haters and doubters have provided me with to take my team to the next level. i'll see you all in war games/premades over the summer and ultimately the Twink Cup. Anyone who thinks they are the "best" or whatever, I expect to see you in the Twink Cup. Put your money where your mouth is.

And as far as everything else included in this thread put your personal feelings aside none of the top 19s do any botting for pvp things its all ppl who farmed sfk there isn't some big conspiracy behind it and if there are people using these pvp enhance things then I really doubt there's many of them.
