Rings with 2 sockets

My lock is 1 shotting bosses, I wonder if I can get the last ring?

Assuming that the socket widgets can still be used on the rings from any current season of M+, then the rings you might want will be coming form next season;

Nec-Wake is the only one that 20's can get into that has rings. the Fae-Forest one ( fuck it's damned name... kek ) doesn't have any rings.

F Y I : Casters ( even ones who have the output to DPS him down ) cannot solo the last boss, as he ports players that don't have aggro & who are not in Melee range.

Same issue on my new priest, unable to apply sockets to the DF necks or rings currently. Tried changing chromie time but doesn't help.

Whatever Chromie time you are in did not affect the setting working on the rings

If you’re getting new ring drops and the setting doesn’t give you the option to socket the ring then it might be patched

If it’s patched on new rings that drop then it’s gfd on those that have sockets. Gg

Someone test because I ain’t ever entering NW again.

I just got the rings on my Warrior 2 days ago and adding sockets worked for me.

I was able to do it with my son tonight. 2/10/2025 10pm CST. Did it to neck and both rings. Neck requires Socket settings from DF, Rings require Magnificent Jewelers Setting from WW.

I was able to solo the last boss just fine on my 11 Resto Shaman.

Having read this thread a day or 2 ago, I returned to Nec Wake to test & found that the rings upgrade perfectly fine.
I'd also like to remind everyone that Theater of Pain will be in the next season, & it has 4 rings to farm up;
so if you've had enough of NW, then chill for a few weeks & we'll have new instances to get sick of!

nope. best you can do is get the rings anyway and hope that whatever tag it is that allows them to be socketed persists until we get access to TWW JC to make the sockets ourselves

There is always the off-hand chance that the rings will be current M+ season loot again, so unless this get's patched; it might work way down the line.

if you still have rings from NW that dropped before the season change you can still socket them, otherwise only the theater of pain and motherlode rings will work if you dropped them after season change
