Anyone bought it? I'm considering buying it, but I'm not sure. And if I do buy it, which archetype would you suggest?

And I guess this thread could be in the 'Other Video Games' section, but this is the Tavern, we can talk about (almost) anything here, can't we?

I picked it up, the CE too. Played in all the beta events and LOVED IT! I am loving this game more and more now that it is out. I play on Epoch (PVP) and have two Guardians and one Defiant at the moment. Slowly leveling them up.

I like to hear good things about the game though. I know a few RL friends who seem to like it as well, but I take it you're a Warrior, yeah? (I'm not too familiar with the Souls.) How are they?
 
Been playing alot of Rift lately.



Clerics can do anything while being balanced. 3 Healing , 1 Tank, 2 Melee dps, 2 Caster dps. Spec(Mine)

Warrior are fairly balanced as well. Tank & lots of dps souls.

Rogues might be considered OP. 1 Tank, 1 Support, 3 Range, 3 Melee. Certain combos can just do retarded amounts of dmg.

Mages might be considered UP. 1 Healer, 1 Support, 1 CC, 5 Range dps. They can however still perform very well.



Currently a level 44 Cleric with 1) Tank Spec 2) Heal spec 3) Caster dps spec. The versatility is nice.



Chilling on Estrael ((PvE-RP) First time on an RP server) Leader of Oppression a defiant side guild with around 100 characters in it.

Hmm, I'm torn between Warrior and Cleric then... but I'll probably roll a Warrior, because I've always preferred melee, and I don't really think the Cleric's melee is quite as strong. I'd have more choices as a Cleric though, hmm.
 
I'm probably going to pick up this game, but i will most likely be completely blind, to start with, haha. Was hoping to jump onto a server with people that i know.

After a couple of weeks I'm bored of the game. It's an alright game, but end-game doesn't look very promising PvP wise, and it's a little too similar to WoW for me. I'm looking for something different.
