Tabards may or may not require the faction rep. Hard to say at the moment. If not, I am golden. Hopefully there will some nice tabard achievements added into the tab. For instance, something like collecting 75 tabards or maybe 100.

Tabards will most likely have the rep requirements still if they require a rep to be purchased or equipped similar to how some toys require rep to use now like Stave of Fur and Claw - Item - World of Warcraft
