Basic Info
I'm quitting paid WoW, trying to free up some more time.
Awhile back, I discovered a group of people who trade WoW pets. Surprisingly, people trade a variety of things for these pets, mounts, game-time, and even TCG items. Some of these trades are... well, kinda sketchy in terms of Blizzards terms of use. Either-way, point is I've been pet trading a lot. I got a lot of pets leftover. I won't be needing them...
Figured why not trade them off for some TCG codes. Get some nice things and raffle them off before WoD hits with it's nifty toy box thingy-muh-jiggar!
Rules
Please know that some F2Ps will reallllllly want some of these items. If you're not too interested maybe keep this in mind.
This is for F2Ps, both US and EU can claim the codes. I've always played F2Ps in this bracket and always will. Always enjoyed the "true F2P" thing in the sense of getting everything you could in a restricted way. So, naturally, I liked the idea of F2Ps getting some of these items. I'm not gonna be too strict about this (ie snoop around, double check armories, etc) but if you got 24s in your signature or are a known 24, all due respect, this isn't for you.
(It's in the F2P Twinking section, duh!)
The Loot
Please note, this is not guaranteed. These codes were given to me by trustworthy people, but things happen, mistyping, poor eyesight. Most of these folks said to let them know if the codes didn't work, but I think this is gonna be a one-shot deal. If it works, it works, if not, oh welllll boooowhoooo.
Common-ish: Papa Hummel's Pet Biscuit, Paper Flying Machine, Paint Bomb, Slash Dance, Sandbox Tiger, Path of Cenarius, and Tiny!
Uncommon-ish: Fool's Gold, Gusting Grimoire, Rest and Relaxation, and Sand Scarab.
Rare-ish: Instant Statue Pedestal. Yep, it's pretty awesome, yo!
How It Will Work
You post here.
I add your name to the pile.
You'll have until this Saturday, when the the Midsummer Fire Festival starts. I will draw names the next day and send out PMs. Make sure your inbox is cleared, scrubs!
Then those people get to pick an item they want in order of their names having been drawn. That way people have a choice of what they get, instead of getting something they didn't want or already had. Last person, of course has no choice!
If you were one of these 19 of about 70 or so people that entered. You should probably read this and make sure your damn inbox is cleared!
Will take a bit to get loot sorted out because of how I'm letting folks choose. So please be somewhat timely when I send you a PM. Thank you
First off, congradumalations!
Second, make sure you have at least a few bag slots free. Don't lose your loot to the mailbox. You can probably get it retrieved by a GM but I had no such luck recently with an Ogre Pinata. They sent it to my paid toon, yeah, it was a mess. You have been warned!
Okay, so this should be all the info you'll need. Be careful, think about which toon you want it on. Keep in mind some of these items will be boa in WoD. However, the list of what will and what won't is anyone's guess right now.
Once you've done that, go to Booty Bay and talk to Landro. You will need to find out what expansion your particular loot is from!
From there it's realllllly easy.
