RFC Speed Challenge

just no buffs at all is alot easier, to allow buffs makes it boring.

There's a few reasons why I chose not to include buffs in the RFC challenge. If there are buffs like rallycry of the dragonslayer and +60intel that take time to get, people have less intensive to partake because one: it takes more time. Two the buffs run out, meaning you can't do as many runs as you like. Three it standardizes the duration even more because everyone does it in a shorter time period and four it becomes more class specific because only certain buffs are available. There is no reason to add buffs to RFC

With all this being said, I don't want to close off the buff idea for the next speed challenge. It might be located somewhere else with different factors eg. situation, amount of players, range of skill-sets and duration. So we'll see

Prot Warrior & Arcane Mage - trust me.

Holy Pala + Arcane Mage to have at least an option to compete as healer. Wie dont have the aoe dmg of a prot pala but can tank as good and are more versatile when it comes to healing while moving. Mage could just bomb whole instance on the run. Also boss DPS as holy is higher as prot.
In short: need arcane mage for trying.

For anyone who would like to participate in this event, but don't have any experience in recording games,
I can recommend you to use Dxtory as recording program. I just tried it for the first time (note that I have
not been recording gameplay before, so I'm as new as can be when it comes to this kind of stuff) and it wasn't
much of a struggle at all. The video actually turned out to have decent quality (much, much better than I expected,
considering my computer is about 5 years old by now).
So if this is something you want to try out, Feel free to ask me about the settings I used or anything else that
might be covering the making of the video. I'll try to be of as much help as I can.
Would love to see more people trying this challenge out!

Finally, I'd like to thank the OP for making this the best "AB-Call to Arms" I've had so far!

PS: Do not attempt to actually enter RFC (other than using the LFG-system) as Alliance, by the time you get there
you'll have red gear and no choice but to HS and repair. Yep, that's how smart we were.

Not if you have mammoth.

That's what we thought of aswell! Turned out the entrance is guarded by two beefy level 90 orc guards, and since you cannot mount up inside the instance, it wasn't possible for us to repair (unless a high level from our server cleared the npc's around the entrance).
