Hi all,

I just discovered this forum a few days ago and it has inspired me to return to WOW just for twinking. Way back in Vanilla i fell in love with the 39 Bracket on BH as an Alliance rogue and read about some great things happening in that same bracket.

I plan on gearing up a Horde Pally (Holy MS and Ret OS) and transferring to BH with the remainder of my WOW savings account. Are there any active guilds recruiting? Once I get established in a guild I am open to rerolling and creating other toons to support guild needs.

Looking forward to returning to the battlefield!

I hope you reconsider to rolling a toon on Alliance-Stormrage. Reason being is alliance is currently in desperate need of experienced players & healers. And because Bleeding Hollow will 'bleed' you of all your gold because prices are insane there, whereas the economy on Stormrage is very reasonable with a large xpoff population already there.

There are a lot of players who rolled toons on BH right now who are regretting their decision due to that. Either way, welcome back and welcome home! I look forward to seeing you out there in the 'Gulch!
 
Coming from a player that typically only plays bleeding hollow horde... If your a returning player, I would highly recommend you go to somewhere like stormrage. As it's going to be lower prices and good help I'm sure.

Also, ally is in need of some more dedicated players as well haha

You may have to pay ALOT more but you will deffinitly find what you need on bleeding hollow when you want it. PS Buy my gear
 
If it's really important to you, you'll likely have more success finding a guild on alliance. The horde BH guilds are small and cliquey. Not sure if you're familiar with community feature but it makes not having a guild far less devastating than in previous iterations of WoW in terms of finding people to play with.

If right out of the gates you want to play with people that are the best at their classes, active, and take wargames/arenas seriously, 100% go horde. This might change in the future, but as of right now, alliance is much more casual and far less interested in making organized twink vs. twink play a thing.

BH will have what you need, at the level you need it. However, since each server is it’s own macroeconomy demand does indeed rule the cost of some items.

EVERY twink worth their salt should have toons on both factions so they can swap to either side when one or the other needs help. It’s not like it is all that time consuming to create one. Hell, in some cases they can be exactly alike, race and all. Both of my MW are practically exactly alike.

As for rolling on Stormrage. It really is tough to find gear for 39’s on the AH on Stormrage. At least for my characters. I had a difficult time purchasing mats for my professions as well. I just had to be patient is all.

Some guilds can be a tough but to crack. That’s why we need an official TI/xpoff guild. One that is open for everyone. One that give a f*ck less if you are “good” at playing low tier video gaming. One of the best Twinking guilds I was in that had 2000 members was like this. I’m sure Burg would agree.

As for the clique guilds, they like to keeps their puddles small so they can appear bigger to the other minnows. If their puddle gets too big a larger fish might come along and gobble them up. They couldn’t have that.

I just made a guild on Stormrage recently for this very reason. Anyone is welcome to join, and we have free consumables/plenty of gear/profession mats to help people upgrade their toons!
 
Soccer Dads on aerie peak is more that willing to help you with a twink.

But hey. So is everyone. The real thing you need to do is make sure you get in the 39s community chat, regardless of what faction and server you end up on.

(And don't listen to these nerds. The kids on BH are just as friendly and helpful as any other server)
 
Thank you for all of the great feedback. You all are giving me alot to think about.

I am open to rolling on another server for Alliance - It is actually my preferred faction. Most of my RL friends rolled horde which is how I ended up there. What would you all say is currently the 2nd most active twink server? Stormrage? I did take a peek at the BH economy and it does seem to have high demand. I have a bank roll that could probably support only one BiS twink on that server. How often is alliance on Stormrage or other servers running premades?

Thank you for influencing my future decision. I haven't had much time, but did want to finish a pair 29s and 39s before my subscription runs out.
 
Aerie Peak fields 5mans just about every night. AH isn't complete dog shit for gear - a lot of us over here already have tons of boe greens/blues/epics that we are willing to hand out. Plenty of guildies with LWers, enchanters etc.

Personally have leveled alch/engy on AP 3 times each now, every time costing around 1k per profession. Rlly cant go wrong over here.

Plus u get to play w r1 tinkinfo moderator sanitarium who I hear is p cute irl
 
I have decided I will get my Pally set-up on my current server and then transfer over to BH. Any guilds on BH interested in picking up a Holy MS Pally message me.

My next move as suggested will be to start working on another twink for Alliance on one of the suggested servers. I look forward to playing with you all. I hope to be active by a couple days after Christmas.

I can’t speak for them but I play with/against the <mh> dudes on BH and they’re all pretty chill and helpful. Hit them up.
 
horde bh guilds are not all small or cliquey, <mh> is on bleeding hollow and it's a really good time. while ah prices are awful, we happily help gear up people and get them all taken care of. it's really a cool place to be with all of the twinks, and we have a very strong presence in wargames. feel free to add bayteor#1635 if interested, would love to chat!
