Hey there

I'm not an expert when it comes to Ret Paladin, or paladins at all.

But gear-wise, it depends whether or not you're willing to use gem gear.



Non-gemmed: chardev 8 - WoW Cataclysm (Aagain, I'm not an expert but something along those lines would be my best guess, you may want to go full Avenger's, though)

Gem gear: chardev 8 - WoW Cataclysm

In both sets you may want to change a few enchant (such as legs), not sure whether you want the extra AP or extra Stam.

I'm not 100% sure that the specs are fail-proof either, but again something along those lines.



I don't actually know anyone who plays ret, they got hit pretty hard @ 4.0.1 (or whatever patch it was) and alot of paladins went prot or holy.

Ret has a great chance to be good. the problem is you are way too heavy in proc reliability. CS is good and can hit for over 2k in full str gear. But with a 4.5 sec CD and no haste on gear the time it takes to build up to a TV is very long. Granted it can crit up to about 5k. But thats clothies. All in all its a good spec and the bubble they get is nice, but with out a healer your going to get beat by alot of people. Granted when you get a streak of proc you might get to take down 2-3 people but other wise its just painful and the damage output blows with no procs.

Looks good to me. i would think about Str/stam gems so your have more health tho. with straight str your looking at about 7.6k health. Almost 10k if you use str/stam gems
