I was playing with Chardev how a level 19 resto druid would look like. Because I might gonna roll one. Should this be a decent set of gear?:

Udiesoon said:You seem to be sacrificing a lot of stats for armor. Haste is also kind of useless on a resto druid. Its personal preference, but these are the pieces of gear I use instead of your selected ones:
3stam/3int/3crit bracers
4stam/4int/4 crit cloak
Spidersilk Boots
Godfrey's Britches
5 stam/5int/5 crit belt
Just some ideas for you, you can also armory my druid if you want, he's prolly in FC set tho

As a druid, regardless of spec, you can find plenty of opportunities to use it, so keep that. Skinning is also pretty useful, in light of the crit buffs, so if that what you want to use, then go ahead. In 4.1 I would have recommended mining or engineering, but skinning is just as valid a choice now if you want more throughput.
Other than that you look good to go.
Kore nametooshort said:...Next, your belt. The belt of the vision is not a top choice. Like most casters, spell power is not quite as important this expansion than it was in previous expansions. It is very useful, but stamina is generally a more useful stat if you are given the choice. Switch to Girdle of the Blindwatcher (since there are no leather haste belts) since it has more stamina and its general stat count is higher. You do lose a small amount of armour and spell power from this switch, but the loss is worthwhile.

Can you clarify as to whether or not this was removed at Cata's launch? ** Sorry, should mention that I've looked and everyone states that it isn't obtainable... just found it curious, and figured Kore knew something I didn't**
Thanks for the lengthy post, giving your basis for each decision. Great info for new druids!
Kore, looks like the new Dungeon Journal in 4.2 has the Girdle listed as a drop from Baron Silverlaine. I'd love to know if anyone can CONFIRM this as a drop.Kore nametooshort said:Argh yeah, I keep forgetting that the Girdle is grandfathered...
