Id go Rdruid at 70 and shaman to 85. Shaman beats druid on 85.
And if u really need a cc chain, stack up 5 combo point and main and such. giving druids quite some cc, tho the maim thingy is tricky to the hots/positioning.

actually nature's swiftness is a 3 min cooldown D:As for burst healing, you've got Nature's swiftness, and swiftmend on a 12-15 (?) or so second cooldown, Between these, you, or you're partner'll drop like a brick.

If memory serves, Druids still lack burst healing, which hurts, when people drop from 100% to <20% instantly, whereas shaman have more bursty, pick-up healing, Ability to interrupt, grounding totem, buff totems....
just wanted to tell you that people cant burst hotted player from 100% to 20% instantly, and also as a druid i feel myself very good on arenas at all, mages cant down me in the deep, priests cant catch me to fear, priests cant mana burn me, rogues cant stun lock me to the dead as a shaman, also i never cast on the arenas, never oom (shamans go oom)
its all about play style id say.
i have a shaman and a druid, and i dont play shaman at all lol cuz i just dont like them.
if you are playing with a frost dk, you dont have to cc almost at all, all you have to do is kite the mage/priest/rogue/any shi, keep dk hoted, los the shi, dispell all the novas and watch 6+6+6 from your dk
about the lack of burst healing, swiftmend have like ~10 sec cd, heals for 7k non crit.
