Requesting BiS Destro Warlock chardev + some tips n tricks.

Yo! I hit 70 on my warlock about 2 days ago. Here's the armory: Genderbender @ Sylvanas - Game Guide - World of Warcraft
I know I still have to play around with gems, gear etc. for all different caps. Also I'm still in progress of lvling up my professions which will be Engineering and Tailoring(for netherweave net so I can survive cloak and make rogues rage). I'm not that interested in arenas since I do not have anyone to play them with and dislike trying out random people. But still in case of I change my mind, 2v2/3v3 setup hints are welcome.

Also any tips are more than welcome. I know pretty much all the basics etc, but there must be lots of things I haven't thought of yet. So far I'm really enjoying the class, destruction spec especially since it's pretty strong against mages (90% damage reduction with Nether Protection, sup).

Note: I did check out the stuck PvP bis thread but I just cant believe that those chardevs would be nowhere near BiS. Also did a bit of diggin' but didn't find any existing threads.

As for comps, I'd snag a discipline priest, Mage, rogue, Rshammy, or feral, for 2s. It's nice there are more then 1-2 viable comps nowadays, eh. More or less the same for 3s. The only good warlock that comes to mind mind seems to have just leveled, will try to find another armory in a minute.

And as for the way in which magical resistance works, (in this case, up to 90%). I do not think it stacks the way you think it stacks.

And good luck, Bracket needs more warlocks. Hrmph. Can't seem to find any PvP-going warlocks as of now, typin' this from a computer on the other side of the planet, from where i just moved from, and have lost all computer history, bookmarks, etc.

Thanks to both of you.

I'm leaning a bit towards healer/warlock atm. Or maybe a class with strong off-heals such as ret or spriest. Warlocks are pretty squishy. I can survive in a 1v1 situation for quite a while, but I can only image what happens when I'd face any good double dps. They'd just roll over me within a seconds, most likely I'd be dead before my partner could ever start peeling.

Disc has quite nice burst and heals overall, only problem is that our fears are on same DR. Paladin in other hand brings decent burst with exo spec and HoP is a great defensive tool against any melee team. Could imagine gibbin' people with HoJ->Spell lock -> coil, with paladin assisting while other player is chain feared.

against cyberskurk and shadowmeldx among other.

Priest Lock is a very strong comp in my opinion

Otherwise we wouldnt have played 81% winrate

disc mage with double tazik isn't that hard, You just have to make sure, that the priest and mage wont cast in you at the same time in deep freeze.

Furthermore, play really aggressive, dispell as often as you can so you are able to burst at any time. Now you just have to get a full fear on the opponent priest and burst the mage. Since most of the mages doesnt have much resilience, warlock dmg will do its work.

Priest Rogue is annoying. We're having problems too against this comp, crap rogue disc teams are easy, just survive the burst and be prepared for every dance. Fear the priest, burst the rogue together. Repeat this till they are out of cooldowns.

Good rogue disc teams will probably manage to kill your disc. Teamwork and support is extremely needed for dance, otherwise you are dead.

Good disc/rogue teams will never go on the priest though, it's 100% more effective to tunnel down the warlock. Not to mention pets are ridiculously easy to kill at 70 lvl which means 25% more damage taken by the lock.

so warlocks can SF and fear, or just howl and mass doting, also priestrogue will get a lot of burns and many dots or just a lot of instant burst damage from the warlock.
also its VERY easy to keep the pet alive, and still we have 3 soulshards to instant resummon or double fear and summon another.
for sure if you play well, its all about if you good player as a warlock.
