Req Lvl 20, ilvl 27 Greens: Discussion.

Just curious if this isn't a weird glitch or if it is something worth farming? I'd think the level up for one would mean the farming toon would have to be level... 26? This would mean that level 20 armor items should hit ilvl 30 while weapons/ohs are 27.

i think these i27 green items would "just" be un-scaled versions of the items. not some wierd 0 scale, bug thing. they are just versions of these items either looted before legion scaling was implemented, or from lockboxes before SL. this is just how the base items ended up, perfectly landing 20 after the squish. wouldve been level 44 or 45 greens before?

this is accurate. I have a number of these pre-squish items in my vets bank
 
I had one of my WoD intro quest rewards proc epic up to ilvl 27 (always 26 in my experience) a few weeks ago.

Dont recall the quest anymore, but found that pretty odd.

edit- OOPS! My bad, it was legion not WoD.

However, it shields for a massive 11....... pretty useless. Procs well enough, but 11 isn't going to do much.... Tried to see if a Str proc makes it bigger, but it didn't.

Idk if you remember, but back in legion on 101s, some quest rewards when they proc epic would be like ilvl 710, but a couple quests would proc epic and be like ilvl 716. The ilvl 27 quest rewards are the 716 and the ilvl 26 are the 710

I'm fairly certain you can still farm Classic Shields to this ilvl. Same as the blue ones from later expansions. These shields drop in places like Silithus iirc.
