Now that the garrison trinket is getting the nerf I’ve been looking at replacements. I have a mastery trinket with int proc from Stormheim, but I’d like the few extra stats from the epic version. I have the rare trinket in my bank. I tried killing the mob a few times and it didn’t drop the trinket. I’m wondering if the trinket will drop again if I delete the one I have in the bank? Has anyone tested this?

Also, I’ve tried this on rares in WoD too with same results. Also also, I know you only can loot once a day.
 
So is that the key? Deleting the item? I'll give that a go...

edit- Sold one... nope. Deleted another... nope. More nonsense, i guess.

I deleted ones from Nazmir that i couldnt equip.... not really interested in deleting stuff i want to try it either.

Not when I know it works differently, since BfA launch.
 
Don't worry about the colour of the items dropped from WOD normal rare mobs. There is only tiny difference of stat from +1 ilvl. Just focus on the useful type for specific use and build. Unless you think it is worth for rerolling a character.
