With the boas, you should be soft-capped. It's all good, so far.
Why not go into engineering? At least have goggles while you wait for LFH. Just a temporary solution, imo. And you can make minor recombobulators for healing.
[item]Bravo Company Signet[/item] or [item]scrupleless bracers[/item] can be used as a temporary soft-cap as well. You really don't want ambush to miss, much less waylay on first hit.
