With the advent of Cataclysm, many changes have occurred in the twinking community, and as such, there have been fluctuations in what brackets are popular, what gear can be used, etc, etc. As such, I find myself in an awkward position, do I join an already established guild and do nothing of importance to the twinking community or do I begin my own guild and challenge those who are comfortably sitting with their teams?
I think you'll find my answer to that is fairly obvious.
I am looking to find the cream of the crop for my guild's premade team, and as such, I will be holding interviews for all applicants, as well as a rigorous screening process to ascertain who will and will not be a good fit for the <Theatre>. I don't want to set any requirements in stone, because I know many of you don't have mains that you play competitively, but in general 2200+ is going to be the cut-off.
If you are in Waw Tawent or Twink Info, and defect to my guild, you will either be a) guaranteed a spot on the B team HAR HAR, or b) earn yourself a spot on my arena teams (19, 85, whatever) and learn to be super good.
This guild is not going to fall in the middle of twink-dom. We will be the best. That means I want the best.
- About me -
I am a Rank 1 resto druid from Season 3 and 4, as well as a vanilla and TBC twink enthusiast (played with Detox at 29 and 39). I have very strong strategic theories for both arena and battlegrounds, the ability to teach swell/draw play en masse, and very strong combat abilities with several classes other than a druid. My druid will be transferred to whichever server is decided upon in order to help gear/level anyone who doesn't have BiS, as well as to compete in arena and rated battlegrounds. You are in good hands with me at the helm!
- Guild needs/requirements -
Since this guild is brand spanking new, I don't have any members to even consider yet. As such, I will be first looking to find officers for the guild, and once those positions are filled, I will begin looking to round out our team. I currently have a need for a recruitment officer and website administrator/designer, so if you feel you can fill those positions adequately (have previous experience) then send me a PM and we'll get the ball rolling.
Since this guild will be relatively small, only 2, maybe 2.5 teams for premades, we will not be using ventrilo. As such, I require that everyone has a skype account and a working mic (it's soooo much better than vent anyway).
UPDATE: I currently have several competitors for various officer positions, so I'll be thinking about opening recruitment to fill out the teams.
UPDATE 2: I currently have filled my graphic design/webmaster position, but I am still looking for a recruitment officer. We have a healthy group of 2600+ players at the moment, as well as a couple rank 1's, so space is becoming limited for our A-team. Apply while you still have a shot!
Requirements:
* 2.2k+ arena and/or high level Rated BG exp. @ 85 or extensive twink premading exp. with vouches from other well known players
* Willing to Follow Directions
* Ability to play your class to its best ability
* Ability to communicate clearly (you must have a mic and skype)
* Have Great Situational Awareness
* Exceptions to these will be at my discretion alone
I am looking for toons which are mostly complete BiS, but if you have excellent credentials and for some reason do not have a toon geared out, we will make every effort to get you battle ready a.s.a.p.
