Crit BoA neck > spirit
Vers enchants IMO

Otherwise pretty good. Mog could use a little work though 8/10

I tried both of these out initially when I was deciding on gear, but I found that the 12 haste was better than the 6 extra sp. I also found that from spamming flash of light so often, I was running out of mana quickly, which is why on I choose spirit over crit on the neck and leg enchants.

I have another more tanky set with versatility, but for straight output, and for my play style, I prefer stacking haste, as it lowers the global cooldown, which helps a LOT with juking/fakecasting as well as being able to dispell then quickly continue healing.

Everyone that plays a hpally offer your suggestions! Together we can make hpally slightly less awful :D

edit- wow ignore this post, my phone just flipped out

But on a more serious note, I use pretty much the same set. Except different belt. Which I may ask, why the spell power from Keller's as opposed to the haste on the mail satchel sorcerer belt?

ps- I'm on mobile because my computer has ebola so it took me like 20 minutes to type this out

Edit- I've also had a lot more success with this set than any others I've tried too. Occasionally I switch to spirit for more team fights (AV and EotS primarily), but I definitely like this set more. Torn between hovels and mind thrust though

I found after what I had, any haste was almost worthless. I initially aimed for around 1.2 cast time, and with haste from boas and gift enchants, I really didn't need anything else. After that, I tried to maximize the amount of int/sp as much as I could in the other pieces. The belt scales to 12 int, which is a lot, and sp scales reasonably well for pallies. I'm sure I could get away with swapping one of the haste gift enchants with versatility, but I'm so used to the cast time of this set now it'd be annoying.

I prefer to use a more spirit based set for things like av, and eots, like you mentioned, where I would need to be casting almost constantly, but for things like wsg or ab, you need the higher output with less sustained healing.

I like hovels, and have a pair with haste enchant, but I haven't found a setup where it really shines!

he actually heals and wants spirit not crit. if he was a shockadin i would agree but tence heals

As a holy paladin you'd be focusing more on Critical and Spell power, i don't think spirit would be a good choice, since your mana will regen pretty quickly when you leave combat.

By the way, Tence. I see that you are using a spirit based gear with Haste enchantments. I'd suggest going max intellect/crit stack keeping the haste enchants. Holy paladin is the healer that should be played 60% Defensive (healing) and 40% Offensive (Denouncing, also helps your team mates being immune to Crit for that matter of time).

So, for long mid-fights i'd suggest you use your current set, and for mid-fights that can be easily won, i'd suggest you go max intell/crit stack with Haste Chants.

open to suggestions. Lets make hpally less awful!

Holypala will be aweful as long as the healing coefficient is this bad...but its not only f2p, its shit for every lvl...

For your toon Id suggest: Haste>Int>Crit=Stam>Spirit

Also you lack DPR iirc (since u switched gear a bit).

All in all what Lenny said + the fact that your off/def-playstyle requires you to support your teammates a lot in which case I find SoL more useful than PoJ

I'll log back into my regular set once I get on again, someone I knew wanted to see it. I've tried crit briefly, but honestly don't really like it. Crit is an RNG stat, meaning that every time I cast an ability I may or may not gain any benefit from it. Spirit on the other hand is a static stat, and I always gain a benefit from it, which is why I prefer it. The current set I have is a mix of spirit, int and a bit of stam so I don't die instantly.

Like you said, I agree that denounce is a very important stat, and is something I use often when I can, which is another reason why I prefer to stack haste. In my eyes, denounce isn't about damage, and instead about the "not being able to crit" ability. I'd use it even if it didn't do any damage, because its just THAT good, and with all the haste I have in my normal healing set, I can get off denounce very quickly, and keep it up while I continue to heal as I normally would.

DPR is awful currently outside of an fc set. The int you lose doesn't outweigh the crit and haste you get. On a note of POJ vs SOL, for premades and arenas where I know I don't have to kite, I agree SOL is better, but since I pug 95% of the time, I need that 150% speed to be able to kite, fc, and etc. It's the best swiss-army knife esque one, in my experience.
