Mkay, right now I'm seeing 8/10. :)
All you need to do is change your leggings Aluywin's Legguards (Enchant it +16 armor), then change your cloak to 4 agil 4 stam 4 crit (can be farmed doing ranom dungeons and enchant it +10 armor) then you're done :) Gl working on heirlooms.
 
Really? Because the reason I have hogger's trousers is of the +9 agi & +9 hit (more with scaling) same as the cloak +7 agi with scaling :)
 
Smelting pants works as an option too. I see nothing all that wrong with hoggers except maybe that all the extra hit is going to waste in bgs.

I had a druid back in the day that I collected all the Fang pieces for. Much respect for the dedication taken to get them all. It's a good looking set.
 
Trinkets - BoA Insig and AGM

Legs - Aluwyn's or Smelting if crit based (doesn't appear so right now).

What I always think to myself and others gearing - what is the purpose? Meaning well rounded set? Crit set? FC set?

I think hit past capping your specials is less efficient than agi or crit stacking.

I think we benifit alot from agi atm only lose few % from crit. the agi gives dodge, ap and crit. plus the bonus for playing sub spec wich boosts the agi even more. rogues arent made for fc's we lost alot of mobilty losing sprint. about the hit being overcap, cant do anything if the max agi gear i choose aparently has a hit stat on it. btw when u scale to lvl 24 in bg ur hit drops by a few %.

Nice way to talk yo people trying to figure out what works best with the scaling, Maybe u shuld tell us how yo gear seeying u know how to gear? 392 ap out of bg with 22 % crit more and more.dodge and a bit over cap with hit vs 370 ap and 25% crit (a ball figure) what would u choose
 
I'd give you a solid 8.5/10. Great rogue. I know you want to keep Hogger's Trousers but the problem is is that you're always soft capped in hit without it. I'd say go with Aluwyn's Leggings from Blackfathom Deeps or Smelting Pants from Deadmines.

Also, you need cloak of the bandit but I know that can be two pains in the ass to get.

NO MATTER your gear, NO MATTER your opponent, NO MATTER your spec, NO MATTER your race, NO MATTER your talent, NO MATTER the length of the fight, NO MATTER WHAT hoggers will guaranteed provide more damage.

the question then comes down to survivability. TEST THE LEGS FOR SURVIVABILITY TOO. HOGGERS STILL OUTPERFORM ~80% OF THE TIME DESPITE THE LOSS OF STAM. JUST TEST IT FOR FUCK'S SAKE
 
I agree that Smelting Pants are BiS for a rogue, but, BFD pants can be a viable FC gear.

OP - you should have mentioned you prefer to stack agi rather than argue the benefits of either stack.

And no need to discuss the benefits of agi w/sub spec - think we all know that at this point.

However -if I am correct in that you are attempting max agi you fail in your modest task of max agi stacking in several slots.

that quote has been slightly doctored, but the takeaway is that hit does not only increase autoattack damage

while this thread was made for feedback, i do not plan to let arbitrary feedback go unchallenged. different playstyles may prefer more stamina, but the tested fact of the matter is that hoggers provide the most damage. an objective review should make clear the f2p rog's glass cannon status, and i'm sure you've heard 'play to your strengths'
 
With a fast wpn speeds, dual wielding and an available instant attack @ a 50% chance to apply crip (and an uptime of 12 seconds) I don't agree the added hit gains any priority over other stats past the cap on specials.

I most note I do like your response on time on target increasing dps - I can't argue that - but I am in regards to hit stack I am. /kudos

And perhaps it's a playstyle thing - I'd prefer to have stacked crit for the big ambush/evis #s .

I never had a problem missing before and always seem to proc crip ...next time I hop on my rogue(s) I'll try your theory.
 
woah, alot of replies. Actually, I'm not sure about max stacking agi, but I'm just looking for BiS overall

EDIT: and I already have cloak of the bandit btw
