Race Change + Tf quest

Cant find one thing online about this, Well I did find one thing..I was gonna race change soon and was wondering which would be better. Drop the thunderfury quest then pick it back up after race change. Or race change and let it take away the essence from me.



Cause it says that all quests will be lost and items will be destroyed, The only part of the quest is the essence. Or is it even possible to drop the thunderfury quest and go back and pick it up ?

If you drop the quest, you can still start it again as long as you have at least one of the bindings.



The Essence is a guaranteed drop if you are on the quest. Yes, you'll have to get that again, but the bindings won't go away when you switch.

It's probably referring to all quest items, not all items that you have in your possession. If that was the case, no one would ever change.
