Here's my question. I want to make a 19 twink right now, but I dont know if I should wait because im kindof poor atm. only 100g.. =/



Should I wait until I have the money to make one or should I just go ahead?



And, should I boost it to 19 and chill till the patch then work on my twink or slowly get the equipment I need from dungeons and stuff?



If you guys don't remember me, I was the "lvl 1, 10, and 19 hunter twinks" person. =) You guys have helped me find my true class. Priest! Hawtnesss

I'd wait till you can afford him, it's much better to have extra gold saved up rather than "living goldcheck to goldcheck"

same as above... much easier to earn more money by having money, if you're thinking of playing the ah.

so, while you're waiting, just scan the ah once a day for cheap buys/bids.

Why shouldn't I just make a dude, get him to 19, and just save up my money till the patch? Wouldnt it be the same? By the way, do you get xp right now doing bgs? or is that only till the patch arrives. =o

xp is first when 3.2 arrives ... u could get him to 19 now if u dont have anythin better to do, then get ur gear when patch comes. thats what i would do

I'd go ahead and get levelin, but keep in mind the guides here... grab you quest BoP's on your way up.

Yeah save up. Do argent tournament dailies, 4 days of taht and you got a nice ass twink

I would definitely start lvling him, if you have a friend/guildy who will run you, then do your runs starting at lvl 10. If you are going to be buying runs then i would go to 19 and sit there till you have enough G and 3.2 comes. If your stuff does not drop it can get pretty pricey. Also, since priest gear has lots of BOE it can get expensive so i would wait till you get more gold to start buying stuff. But keep track of AH to get an idea of prices, and snag anything that is ridiculously low... i got feet of the lynx for 75 silver once. I am not saying you will not have to fork out some cash for gear, but if you check often you may get lucky. Gl making you twink

Ahaa, I have feet of the lynx. XD But I dont need them for my priest so I'm probably selling them.

if you want to make one make one. it's free and they are a fun class to play even if you never twink him.

Making a 100% perfect twink can be expensive. There is an old saying though - perfect is the enemy of good enough.



My advice is to do your homework, map out a strategy for getting 'good enough' gear from quests, drops, and PvP rewards. Make a bit of gold (by questing or the AH) and check the AH for great deals on gear and enchanting supplies.



You can build a pretty damn effective semi-twink for very little gold.

^^Yeah, that's what I'm going to do. Map everything out and get the BoP items and then just farm for the BoE items or wait till they hit the AH. =)

You could make a hunter level it to 19 and top the damage chart. I'm gonna go write a guide for twinking on a budget, seeing as I've made a successful pally for less than 50g.
