Question for Alliance premades

I asked all these when I got into a BG with an AP premade, but never got an answer, they just said stop GY farming, even though I specifically said staying in MIDFIELD. I don't like farming lv 20's for 15 minutes, although I will attempt to farm 24's, and I will kill anyone who attacks me or my teammates first.

1: Why do you even premade on a faction that already wins 80% of the time?

2: Why do you do battlegrounds to cap cap cap. You run back and forth carrying a flag. It's a BATTLEground. Objective play is fun and all, but if there are relatively balanced teams, why not fight IN THE MIDDLE a bit? I repeat for all those that are deaf to type: IN THE MIDDLE. No not in front of their GY. Not just outside their heal hut. Preferably more so to our side so they may maneuver over half of the field as they please.

If teams are sadly unbalanced, I understand just capping it. That's a courtesy to the other team. If you premade alliance, of course teams are going to be unbalanced, unless you don't have any hunter/paladin/rogue. I'm at a loss to what amusement you receive from repeatedly queuing up as a faceroll alliance premade that ends the game in 8 minutes.

1. To play with friends? Be able to take on groups of 24s which would otherwise be an automatic loss? Because I play a warrior and not having a healer blows? To play against other premades, like AP horde (which is unfortunately rare)? I see you have an AP Horde character. Do you ever queue as group? If so, have you queued with a full 10 (2 groups simul-queue)? Because that happens far more often on Horde than Alliance and is far more face roll than a 5 man group queue on Alliance.

2. Because killing the same scrubs over and over is boring. I would rather move on to the next game in hopes that the next team will provide a more interesting game.

I should prob take Loriana off that list....I play her maybe once every few months. I solo que as a warrior almost all the time. I can't say I approve of premading period for the purpose of fun, I guess I can understand if your are just grinding honor for looms.

'Approve' seems like a pretty haughty word in this case, like your opinion is what constitutes what should be considered fun. I don't find killing the same players in mid for 25 minutes to be fun. To each their own.

Why do I premade?

So I am guaranteed players above 1k HP.
So I am guaranteed players who know what EFC means.
So I am guaranteed players who know what to do in the battleground.
So I am guaranteed players who can find the enemy base.
So I can take on 24's and their premades.
So I can premade versus premade.
So I can play less *viable* characters (Boomkin, Warrior, Warlock)
So I can play with people I like.

Why do I cap, cap, cap, instead of sit mid?

Because your team couldn't kill my FC/team, why would I want to farm you?
Because I want a more interesting game (see above).

pre·made n. A group comprised entirely of level 24 characters made for the sole purpose of being able to ask why the other team is afking out of the match.

Oh, wait...

The objective of a battleground is to win. While mid-playing can be fun, you could be potentially be else where being more useful to your team(going for efc, guarding fc, guarding flag, etc)

You seem to think that alliance always win, especially in pre-mades, this is not always the case. I have been in some games where the alliance have had good pre-made teams but we (puggers united) have still managed to win. While i have also been in games where the alliance pre-mades have literally mopped the floor with us. What i'm trying to say, is that it goes both ways.

Sally basically gave a few good reasons, Pre-mades are simply better than pugs(most of the time). Personally I have beaten vashj, norgannon, ap and some 24 twink premades with pugs and pugs alone. I'm not bragging, i'm just saying don't think that alliance premades are completely indestructable or unbeatable because they simply aren't.

You keep making the distinction about middle v gy... and personally why you're trying to run the flag I'd keep the other team as far towards the gy as you can. When ppl are opposed to gy farming its the disinclination to end a game even when the other team clearly can't stop you. In that way, it doesn't matter where you don't end the game, whether it's mid or physically in the gy... you're still not ending it.

Also not ending a game when you can is a risk. Best case, you waste a little time and exasperate the other team. Worst case, some of the bad players on the other team drop out and they roll some game changers, (24s, bis toons, what have you) and win the game. I have been on both sides of such a comeback, and let me tell ya it happens all the time and is no fun for the team that could have won. That is why when it is up to me I always end it.

i dont think i have ever really ROFL'd until THIS. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH niceeeee dictionary ftw

There's two things here, firstly, regardless of faction, people group together to play with people they like. It's a mistake to say that alliance win 80% of the time. Horde suck far less than they did originally, and alliance are not immune to attracting trash that have no idea what they're doing. It's also more enjoyable to play with people you know than random trash.

The second thing is farming. Just as farming has become the norm wtih randoms, a counter to that, avoiding farming has become a thing on TI and AP. It's a cultural thing. Personally, I find too much farming boring, but at the same time, I find faceroll games playing with a premade against random trash that ends in a few minutes equally boring.

Also, just to correct the OP.

I don't win 80% of my BGs, that's absurd.

I win 79% of my WSGs and 100% of my ABs.

I somewhat agree with sally with one exception ( 2.nd note) ,

Often in BG's you have idiots ( well mostly ppl ) that want to farm (now there's a challenge) if they are being superior to the opposing team, now here's the deal :

1 .That starts by middfield farming and graduately advances to there GY -boring- bad camper - shame on you !
2 .After capping two flags and the opposing team seems challenging in pure PVP-there is no shame in PVP-ing for 10-ish min in the middle as long as it doesn't turn into farming.
3 .Ppl ( well mostly idiots ) often say stuff like ''hey lets farm them for more honor''--are you going to die stupid or just ugly ? -ofc the fastest honor is capping the flag three times and requeueing for another fast game focused on the objectives !

Alphasky .

I stated 80% because my WSG's are at 60% (109/183) and my AB's at 97% (37/38). These include all the BG's I didn't have a significant impact in while lving. The highest amount of people I've ever premaded with is two, counting myself. I found Aradiel's answer the most helpful: Fight for a little while but end the game relatively quickly.

Thank you for your responses and opinions,

I think kale meant was fight until you get focused then hit afk macro :) <3

In all seriousness, fighting mid just ends in GY camping. You will begin to tunnel vision what you are doing and before you know, you're advancing, ending up at the healing hut. If the opposing team really falls apart, boom, your standing 3 feet from their GY. It happens to everyone at some point.

Many times I've been healing and found myself here, even with a premade.

I personally just grab the flag and cap, that's WSG all about.
I don't like fighting in the middle, it is a waist of your time.
